Sony Online Entertainment has launched the twelfth expansion for its online trading card game, Legends of Norrath, with the release of Legacies. The new pack comes with a new core set for new players and over 50 new cards and 16 new loot cards for EverQuest and EverQuest II for existing players. Additionally, 2v1 and 4v1 raids have returned with 16 new reward cards to find.

To celebrate the release of Legacies, SOE has put together a weekend event set to begin this Friday and continue tournament-based action through the weekend with a chance to win some nice in-game prizes.

Scheduled to run at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. PT on Friday, March 4, 2011; 10 a.m. PT and 5 p.m. PT on Saturday, March 5, 2011; and 10 a.m. PT and 5 p.m. PT on Sunday, March 6, 2011, SOE will host six special Legacies sealed deck tournaments.
