Its patch day once again for PlanetSide 2, and today is a beefy one. Game Update 4 has gone live and with it some changes to the Flash, which now includes an additional passenger seat and a cloaking option for Infiltrators. The map and respawn screen have been merged and improved to make life easier and each empire now has a shiny new rocket launcher to make things go boom.
Passive cert gains have also been adjusted based on your subscription type with the following changes.
1-mo. member - 24 passive cert points/day
2-mo. member - 28.8 passive cert points/day
3-mo. member - 33.6 passive cert points/day
4-mo. member - 38.4 passive cert points/day
5-mo. member - 43.2 passive cert points/day
6-mo. + member - 48 passive cert points/day
In addition, players also have a nifty new try-before-you-buy option, which provides an option to test out those weapons that you have been thinking about buying before you pony up the cash and end up with a quick case of buyers remorse.
