RIFT gets its first major content update since June today as 2.4: Beyond Infinity hits live servers. The new update includes the new Realm of the Twisted Dreams dungeon and a chance for players to explore an alternate Telara with Infernal Dawn: Laethys. Additionally, players will fight for control of the Infinity gate and can join other players for cross-shard instant adventures. New Rank 90 PvP weapons and armor will also be available along with new hairstyles.

The last major piece of content slated for release sometime after the launch of 2.4 is the opening of the Planebreaker Bastion, a war foundry located at the heart of the Plane of Earth. Inyr’Kta has fled to the Planebreaker Bastion, and players will have to breach the Plane of Earth to pursue her to foil her plans to conquer the elemental planes.
