Rift concluded its second beta event, Guardians of the Vigil, this weekend and while the game won't be launching this holiday, you can get a taste of what's to come in the latest release from Trion Worlds. The developers recently revealed the two intro cinematics that offers a look at the starting story for the game's Guardian and Defiant factions. The situation is grim in both videos and emphasizes the conflict between the faithful Guardians and the technological Defiant. Both factions are faced with a threat that could destroy Telara, but their inability to get along could prove to be their undoing.
