With the current state of things, it's generally accepted that the Tal Rasha's set is the strongest way to go for a Wizard in Diablo III. However, that doesn't mean that it's the only viable option if you want to challenge yourself in Greater Rifts. The newly-introduced Delsere's Magnum Opus set allows us to make great use of what was previously sub-optimal skill, Slow Time. This build also allows us to use Frozen Orb, which was my absolute favorite skill back in Diablo II.

The Delsere's set introduces an entirely different play style for the Wizard, and it's one that I think you'll find to be a whole lot of fun to play. Even if it's not the "best build," it is more than viable. We're going to see how far we can push a full Delsere's build even without perfect gear, and like the last Advancement Series, we're going to start with Greater Rift 35 to establish a baseline. Enjoy!
