Video of the Day: Dreamfall Chapters Tours the Friar’s Keep

Something seems off about those friars.

Fans of The Longest Journey series for years have called for a sequel to the last game in the series with Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. Last year they got their wish when Ragnar Tørnquist, the creator of The Longest Journey and its sequel Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, founded Red Thread Games and headed to Kickstarter to reveal the third game in the series with Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey. The Kickstarter campaign pitched the sequel to fans by detailing various worlds with various themes ranging from cyberpunk to fantasy and bringing back Zoe, a popular series protagonist.

In a surprise to no gamer ever, the Kickstarter campaign was a massive success. Dreamfall Chapters blew its initial goal of $850,000 out of the water to close big at $1,538,425. Red Thread Games recently revealed a new video narrated by Ragnar Tørnquist and Design Director Martin Bruusgaard that delves into the Friar’s Keep sequence of Dreamfall Chapters.
