In honor of the upcoming EverQuest Next reveal, I've decided that this week the Video of the Day series will be dedicated to all things EQ. We'll start by taking a look at the engine used to render EQ Next, ForgeLight. SOE developed it to be a next gen engine, and it's already hard at work in PlanetSide 2.

This fan-made video by hallatore gives you an idea of the engine's capabilities. Can you imagine South Ro rendered like this? The thought gives me goosebumps.
