If you’ve been looking for more details about WildStar’s crafting system, look no further than the teaser out of Carbine this week in a new developer blog. The crafting system, aptly named the Circuit Board Crafting System (CBC), which serves as what the blog says is the basis for two crafting systems, and is also used by non-crafters to mod items.

The blog explains that most items come with a schematic and already socketed with microchips, but by using the CBC, players can substitute them for better microchips for optimization of their preferred  playstyles. It also touches on the different types of microchips available, how players can mod their items, and what happens to existing microchips when they decide to slot in new ones.

Sound like fun? Head over and check out the blog to learn more about modding items in WildStar.
