Patch day has arrived once again for World of Tanks and that means new metallic death machines to wage war on new battlefields. The latest update enhances the German and Soviet tank rosters light & medium tanks, including the legendary German Tier X Leopard 1. And those new tanks will come in handy as players wage war on the new Pearl River battlefield map as well as the newly revamped maps of Siegfried Line, South Coast, and Malinovka.

In addition to all the new content, World of Tanks players (both paying and non-paying) can create 3-member platoons and companies. Another big change also now allows the purchase of all premium consumable items with in-game credits. Previously these were only available with Gold that had to be purchased with real money so have fun.

The 8.5 update is now available for European players and will deploy for players in the US and Southeast Asia tomorrow. Visit the World of Tanks website to learn more or to sign up to play for free.
