World of Tanks Reflects on First Year with Stats and Promo Code
Wargaming.net has struck a golden chord with World of Tanks fans. The developer has released some statistics on its first successful year, now boasting to have more than 24 million registered players worldwide. In addition to that little milestone, Wargaming.net has also released some statistics from World of TanksÂ first year, which included more than 350 million battles, over 75 billion shots fired (only 48 billion hit something) and the destruction of more than 8 billion armored vehicles. That's a lot of virtual scrapmetal.
World of Tanks also set the Guinness World Record for the "Most Players Online Simultaneously on One MMO Server", an accomplishment that they have broken several times since the initial setting of the record.
