After skipping out on BlizzCon last year, Blizzard will be making their triumphant return with the event in 2013. Earlier today Blizzard President Mike Morhaime posted the message on his Twitter page.

For now the dates and details for the event have not been announced, but we can probably safely assume that it will include competitions, costume contests, news about World of Warcraft, possible information on the third StarCraft II expansion, Diablo III’s expansion if it isn’t out by then, the super secretive Project Titan, and maybe we'll even find out what the hell Project Blackstone is.

It’s unknown at the moment if the event will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center as previous events or at a new location, but the calendar appears to be open in some spots around the later part of the year. Stay tuned and we’ll update you when we have more details available.
