Ten Ton Hammer - Taking MMO Gamers to the Next Level!

Two EA published mega-RPGs are having a crossover. Fans of BioWare’s Mass Effect 3 and Big Huge Games’ Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will have a chance to earn some exclusive in-game items by playing the demo for each later this month.

The Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo will be available for download on January 17th. Fans that download and play the demo will unlock an exclusive piece of armor for Mass Effect 3 designed by Todd McFarlane – the Reckoner Knight Armor. Additionally, players will also unlock the powerful Chakram Launcher in Mass Effect 3. If you purchase Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, you’ll also unlock the N7-inspired Shepard’s Battle Armor  for the game.

Likewise, if you play the Mass Effect 3 demo, you’ll unlock the Omniblade Daggers for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Additional details on how to obtain the items are available via the Reckoning and Mass Effect 3 FAQ.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is slated for release on February 7th with the launch of Mass Effect 3 scheduled to follow on March 6th, 2012.
