Conan the Barbarian Promotion Offers Free In-Game Age of Conan Item

Updated Mon, Sep 12, 2011 by Martuk

The great thing about cross promotions is that we often get some free goodies. Age of Conan fans that visit the Conan the Barbarian Facebook page can claim their code to claim the free in-game item "Amra's Noble Mane."

All you need to do is scoop the code "LIONSGATEBONUS" and add it to your Age of Conan account page to claim your prize. Additionally, there are other prizes up for grabs if you "Like" the page such as Conan swag and a trip for two to San Diego ComicCon. Head over to the Conan the Barbarian Facebook page to check out all the details.

Updated: Corrected the bonus code. Sorry for any confusion.

i know i know i am not the smartest person and i'll be perfect target for trolls but how in hell do u claim that item? like where u gotta enter code to get it?

Hi,

You have to sign into you account page for the AoC Official Website, and there is a place to enter you KEY/Codes etc. Enter it there, press upgrade account and it will walk you through the upgrade to add said item to your account. It's not very intuitive, but once you figure it out it's easy enough.

Good Luck,

Justin

Sorry. But I do not really understend what code should I use. I how can I get t?

LIONSGATEBONUS

you had to link people to the new (well, given I've read the synopsis on wikipedia and it single-handedly rips off The Mummy, Thor AND the original Conan movie so therefore can't qualify) movie, didn't you?

Besides the fact new conan looks like a girl more than a hardcore barbarian (ok, arnie was on roids but he looked like he got built pushing a grist mill in the middle of nowhere with only the other kids to eat), dumb-ass producers forgot that Shardizar (in Zamora, "the crossroads of the world") is the famed City of Thieves (Robert E Howard created it, after all).

speaking of which, when are funcom going to learn a few lessons from Rogues in the House, or better yet let us loose in the mysterious city in Red Nails (best Conan story ever)?

but sadly, Crom laughs at AoC's attempts to sell us crappy remake.

Yay for free stuff!
