Ten Ton Hammer - Taking MMO Gamers to the Next Level!

With the winter event for Champions Online proceeding like chestnuts roasting on an open fire, your friends at Ten Ton Hammer are pleased to give you a holiday gift of a gallery of screenshots showcasing the egg-noggy goodness of yuletide in CO. Sadly, a Scrooge has shown up to ruin the holiday season, the evil Black Harlequin, who creates deadly toys to spread terror and mayhem.

The first two rows of screenshots show the presents that you’ll find traveling throughout the various zones and, of course, the big man himself! If you open up a present (and why wouldn’t you?), you can either get a gift, such as festive socks or part of an action figure, or you can be attacked by the maniacal toys of the Black Harlequin. Feel free to sit on Santa’s lap and tell him that you want the newest crime-fighting gadgets this year!

Rows three and four show a fight against the foul Black Harlequin in addition to a fight against a couple of evil toy soldiers after opening a present. After the Black Harlequin flees, his giant teddy bear of doom, Clarence, appears and you have to face his wrath. Clarence and the Black Harlequin spawn randomly next to a charity worker.

Row five shows some of the action figures you can get by taking action figure pieces that you collect to the Toymaker located in the Renaissance Center in Millennium City. Each figure needs 3 pieces (head, torso, and legs) to be assembled. In a pinch, you can buy them off the auction house or trade with other players.

The last row shows some of the Black Harlequin’s minions that can attack you after you open a present. In addition, they show up when he makes an appearance. You can also transform yourself into one of these cuddly killers by getting an item that drops from the presents. You’ll find yourself a lot shorter though!
