City of Heroes Announces New Dev Events, Delays Double XP Event

Posted Tue, Jul 26, 2011 by Martuk

Paragon Studios has delayed the scheduled Double XP event for City of Heroes (CoH) this weekend following a newly discovered issue. The Double XP event initially scheduled to take place from July 28th through July 31st has been temporarily shelved. But the good news is that the devs have identified the problem and have a fix headed to the Training Room test server to hopefully resolve it. The bad news is that you'll have to wait until August 11th to get your Double XP event fix.

In the meantime, the CoH devs will be hosting Training Room Dev events to help test other features and give away some prizes. The first of those events is scheduled to take place Wednesday, July 27th, 2011 at 11:00am PDT. All the details for coming Training Room events are available on the official CoH website. Be sure to also check out our interview with Matt "Positron" Miller about the upcoming launch of CoH: Freedom.
