Yesterday I talked a little bit about PC security and I wanted to just follow back around on that with another just strong reminder - there is no negative consequence in stealing your Orc Blade of +7 Fart Smashing. You will get your item back and they will sale the blade for gold or real life money and profit off of it. Of course, in the process, you'll loose a few things that can't be recovered along with you know like a day or two of playtime you paid for but won't get back.

Today's topic is the WoW character revamps. Insert your favorite deity, they're dumb. I mean, woah. I've avoided playing much of WoW since you know there wasn't an update for something like five decades, and then bam right in the face. There is some severe proportions wrong in general with things like Female and Male Night Elves.

Part of me wants to tear apart each and every race in some kind of asshole let me rip apart the hard work and dreams of the people behind the models and part of me wants to just say seriously Blizzard why. Like, the Night Elves are just... something is so fundamentally wrong with the fact they're more WildStar Cassians than they are anything to do with the WarCraft universe. When I see a Night Elf male walk in that exaggerated I GOTTA GO PLACES walk I just, I don't know.

But you know why I'm not going to be a huge ass about this? Because you can cut it off. Something... so simple. Something so... beautiful happens when you cut it off. You don't have to deal with it if you don't want to. This magical sensation that all of a sudden, these changes that were forced upon you, are now gone.

I'm a strong proponent of the idea that each server should, ultimately, stay at some level of progression. I believe new servers should be spooled up anytime massive changes come to the game and these servers should contain legacy content (up to the last patch of whatever expansion) with the ability to transfer your character to it, preferably for free. I wouldn't mind playing battlegrounds in WotLK again or even playing vanilla content.

I think legacy servers are great and SOE are badasses for believing in the concept. I wish Blizzard would hop on and let us opt-in to the new expansion or not. Hell, you know what, make people buy the expansion to play on legacy servers. Oh sure everyone is gonna be ticked off.  Why make us pay for something we don't use? But I mean, if the big reason is they want to push the expansion, then just say these new servers for expansion users only and you can continue playing regular servers to your hearts content.

I mean there is a lot of ways to do it and even as Warlords comes on the horizon, there is a part of me longing for the days of WotLK or TBC or Vanilla. I've never been a huge fan of Cataclysm and MoP was alright, but nothing memorable beyond you know, staring at the update sitting there for about ten decades.

Have a nice weekend everyone. I'm playing WoW, Destiny, and ArcheAge all at once right now.  It's great when you get mad at one to switch to the other. Mad isn't the best word to use there, but meh, bored? That's kind of a severe accusation "I'm bored of this game." I don't know, let's just say fatigued. That's a good enough word.

Anyway enjoy the weekend y'all, it's about to get cold and enjoying weekends become much harder, well, kinda, more reasons to game right?
