Darkfall: Unholy Wars Update Includes Admin Bug

Posted Mon, Aug 12, 2013 by Martuk

What happens when you let the inmates (inmates being us, the players) run the asylum (and in this case, asylum being the game)? That answer was almost revealed today when Darkfall: Unholy Wars players logged in after a recent update and noticed that everyone was showing up as administrators. And as we’ve seen in the past, when the players get control of the game, things can get...creative.

Luckily for players there doesn’t seem to be any danger of a rollback according to a statement from Adventurine. As it turns out, the admin bug was simply visual and players were not able to access the admin commands as some were frantically trying to do. As for the patch itself, the update adds a new Sea Fortress, two warships, combat changes, and a number of general fixes. You can read the patch notes for all the details.
