DCUO Boss - Bane

Posted Sun, Jan 09, 2011 by Savanja

Facing off against Bane can be a tough trick, but with a little advice and some general tips that will help get you through any instance, you can spend more time fighting and less time dying.

Most of this zone is pretty straight forward. You have to work through a lot of muscle and through a few doors but the real fight comes after you've met up with Killer Croc and go after Bane.

Bane likes to stun...a lot. You may not be able to avoid them all, and it would probably waste time attempting to do so. Instead, use an ability that will launch you back at Bane each time he knocks you away then open up damage between his major attacks. He does a couple of things that you'll need to get out of the way of though. First, he bashes the pillars in the room causing large pieces of the building to fall around you. These can do big damage if they hit you, so moving back against the wall and focusing on range damage gives better protection. Second, Bane will pick up a huge piece of steel and start bashing you with it. This also does large amounts of damage so dodge these attacks and wait until he is done before jumping back onto him. Persistence and avoidance are the key here against Bane.
