We are over 1000% of our pre-F2P concurrent numbers. We're very aware of the long queues and other issues. We're on it.
DC Universe Online Producer Lorin “DeadMeat” Jameson recently posted a new Producer’s Update to ensure fans that improvements are on the way for login queues and some other issues such as players getting stuck on the loading screen after character select. The team will also be adding priority queuing for DC Universe Online Legendary and Premium players over the next few days.

Wasn't the goal of going F2P to increase participation? Only after F2P launch they're starting to put things in place to deal with increased traffic? Wow.
Now think of all the people who gave DCUO a first try and found it lacking due to foreseeable issues, and won't be back. Odd stuff.
