Earlier this year DC Comics announced that it would be rebooting its superhero comics, giving iconic heroes such as Superman a new look and major changes to their continuity. But how will this new reboot affect SOE's DC Universe Online (DCUO)? According to Jim Lee the new DC Comics relaunch will not have a major impact on DCUO, but players will likely see some subtle tie-ins as a result of the new comic changes.

Speaking with Kotaku at Comic-Con, Lee stated, "I think we're going to be able to tie into the relaunch in subtle ways in the game going forward." Lee admits that reskinning the game to fit the new comic changes would be unrealistic, but that players may see a few things relating to the comic relaunch, "maybe in terms of items you acquire in the game that might give players the ability to look like some of the new costumes."
