The fiery gates of the Burning Hells have been torn asunder as Blizzard announces the start of Diablo III's beta.

The long wait for the Diablo III beta is over. Blizzard today announced the start of beta testing for the game. Beta invitations are in the process of going out, so keep hitting F5 on that inbox to see if you’re one of the selected testers.

Testing for Diablo III will occur in phases, so if you don’t get in with the first batch of testers, there will be more opportunities later. If you are one of the selected, the announcement states that you are free to share whatever you experience from discussion to screenshots since this beta test isn’t confidential.
