Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) suspended another 200 EverQuest accounts during late December for using cheats in the MMORPG. The move is part of an initiative by SOE to help reduce the rampant cheating seen in the game over recent months, something that our own Benjamin de la Durantaye has discussed at some length.

The latest round of suspensions combined with SOE’s previous wave brings the number of accounts banned or suspended since the developer issued its warning to players in early December 2011 to stop or face the consequences to just under a thousand.
