Priests are absolutely essential in EverQuest II and if you play one, you
know that how your gear and spec is of vital importance and part of being a good
healer. EQ2 Clerics, the Inquisitor and the Templar are not only amazing group
healers, but with their ability to equip plate armor, they are also viable solo
classes. To help you customize your Cleric to how you play, we have put together
two different alternate advancement builds. Get advice on how to AA spec your
solo Cleric or if you group more, we have a spec for that too!

Inquisitor

Inquisitor Solo

Cleric Line (100 pts)

  • STR (4, 10, 10, 1)
  • AGI (-)
  • STA (4, 10, 10, 1, 8)
  • WIS (0, 0, 0, 0, 8)
  • INT (4, 10, 10)

Inquisitor Line (100 pts)

Clerics can solo and retain a good amount of survivability however, the focus
will shift towards being able to provide enough damage that you aren't spending
all day killing a single mob. When choosing your AA's in the Inquisitor window,
choose your damage abilities first. Put your points into the Punishments,
Battle, and Detriments lines grabbing the Battle Cleric end ability. In the
Sentinel's Fate row, pick up Strength in Combat, Fanatical Endurance, Mental
Awareness, and Chilling Invigoration.

Inquisitor Shadows Line (70 pts)

If nothing else is something you really want in the General line, put your
points into health and power. In the Priest line you'll want Litany of Combat,
Prayer of Healing, and Protective Prayer. In the Cleric line, pick up Devout
Incapacitation, Devoted Allegiance, Blessed Yaulp, Devoted Healing, and
Overwhelming Arms. In the Inquisitor line, grab Fanatical Devotion, Despotic
Healing, Persecution, and Redemption of Faith.

Inquisitor Group

Cleric Line (100 pts)

  • STR (4, 8, 10, 1)

  • STA (-)
  • WIS (-)
  • INT (4, 8, 10, 1, 8)

Inquisitor Line (100 pts)

Work on your Triage and Detriments lines first. If you spend a lot of time in
group engaging in close combat, the Battle line will give you a bit of a melee
boost that is nice. Take the end line abilities Reach of Faith and Battle
Cleric. In the Sentinel's Fate row you'll likely want Fanatical Endurance,
Combative Healing, Purging of Sins, and Chilling Invigoration.

Inquisitor Shadows Line (70 pts)

General line you will want health and likely power or maybe your god pet
boost if you have done your deity quest to receive that reward. In the Priest
line pick up Ally Revivification and Prayer of Healing. In the Cleric line, pick
up Allied Prayers, Devoted Healing, and Sacrifice. In the Inquisitor line, grab
Vile Recovery, Fanatical Devotion, Devoted Following, Despotic Healing,

also picking up Sign of Pacification and Soothe from Compliances and the First
few of your Holy Smites line. In the Sentinel's Fate row, grab Holy Protector,
Divine Meditation, Atonement, Cleansing of the Soul and True Faith.

Templar Shadows Line (70 pts)
