SOE has just released a new
style="font-style: italic;">EverQuest 2
trailer for their upcoming
style="font-style: italic;">Destiny of Velious
expansion. The new expansion adds over 300 new quests, hundreds of
items and weapons, ten instanced dungeons, four new Heritage Quests, 30
new creatures, two new zones, PvP battlegrounds, flying mounts, and
more! Whew.
Destiny
of Velious follows the events
of Sentinel’s
Fate. The twin swords of
Destiny, Soulfire and the Qeynos Claymore, have been drained of their
powers, setting the stage for the destruction of the EverQuest
universe. The prophecy known as Age’s End begins to unfold in
the legendary continent of Velious and it is here where the war for
Norrath will arise. For there to be any chance of saving Norrath, the
Swords of Destiny must be restored.
The new trailer showcases a few of the new locations that
you’ll be adventuring in, and the sights are quite an eyeful.
Plus, you will get to see one of the eagerly anticipated flying mounts!
