EVE Online Celebrates 9 Years of Space War

Posted Mon, Apr 30, 2012 by Martuk

EVE Online celebrates its 9th year of operation in May and CCP has put together a new dev blog to reflect on what’s made EVE so successful, and what players can expect as a thank you for this year’s festivities. EVE’s secret ingredient for success has been a huge amount of player freedom, allowing the players to shape the universe of EVE through corporate politics, war strategy and other shenanigans, a fact many were reminded of with the burning of Jita last week.

With the 9th anniversary looming on the horizon, CCP has put together a list of anniversary rewards for players to choose from that will be available starting on May 4th and remain open for claiming until June 4th. Check out the latest dev blog for the full list.
