Final Fantasy XIV was a bit of a train wreck at its initial launch back in September 2010. But after the revamp to A Realm Reborn last month, the obvious excitement by fans to play the game was there. Even more so than Square Enix expected as server congestion became quite a problem.
One of the steps that Square took to help address login issues was to temporarily suspend digital sales for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn was to suspend digital sales on the same day as its official launch until new server and network support could be put into place.
