Final Fantasy XIV Reveals New World Merger Details

Posted Fri, Feb 17, 2012 by Martuk

Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) will follow through with its world merger plans on March 27th, but Square Enix has made a few adjustments to the original plan following feedback from the community that had the last plan pulled for re-evaluation. As part of the merger, players will have the option to select a new destination world from the list starting on March 1st.  So long as a player has at least one usable character on their account, they’ll be able to request a destination world for all characters tied to their account. This includes characters that they’re not currently paying for.
