As Firefall begins its 24/7 invitation-only beta this week, incoming players have some questions about the PvE content in the game - namely, where is it? But don't get us wrong, the latest cinematic trailer told us why a far-future sci-fi game is set in Brazil (and, to a lesser extent, why Barry Manilow's "Copacabana" rings through our heads every time we play).

But up until now, recent builds make the common areas of the game seem like graphical lobby where players can queue for (admittedly fun) PvP matchups. But Red 5 promised us a mission-driven open world experience as well, didn't they?

That's where Firefall's Matt DeWald comes in. Matt describes how Red 5 will enlist players to help narrate the ongoing story and how the SIN (Shared Information Network) gates content areas, how players can push back the mysterious alien "Melding" threatening to overtake the last inhabitable areas of earth, and much, much more (including the hot topic of female mustaches!) in this information packed PvE Q&A video from PAX East 2012!
