Update: It turns out that the Steam greenlight release for Ghosts 'n Goblins Online was a mistake. Polygon learned today that the game's Greenlight page has been removed and that the initial posting was a mistake. For fans that may have been hoping to give th egame a try, you may have to wait quite a while longer as Seed 9 Games also confirmed that there are currently no plans for a western release.
Original Story: If youre an old school gamer like me, youre probably familiar with a classic and insanely difficult game by the name of Ghosts n Goblins from Capcom, a game where your hero donned the weakest armor imaginable. After taking only one hit it would shatter like glass, leaving the poor guy in his underwear. Now the classic title is getting the free-to-play treatment courtesy of South Korean developer Seed 9 Games under the name of Ghost n Goblins Online. Ive known about the game for quite some time, but it appears to finally be making its way to NA by way of Steam Greenlight.
