Gamigo pulled the plug on the post-apocalyptic world of Grimlands back in February as part of its "reduction of high-risk development projects." But developer DRAGO Entertainment isn’t ready to go away quietly into the night. In an effort to bring the game fully to launch, DRAGO Entertainment has turned to the one place that has been the salvation of many games, the crowdfunding site Kickstarter.

A new Grimlands Kickstarter campaign launched today with a targeted goal of $650,000 to raise funds to complete the title, which has already spent five years in development.

“When gamigo announced they would no longer fund the development of Grimlands, we were all shocked, given we had spend more than five years on this game and are finally so close to release”, explains Lucjan Mikociak, Head of Development at DRAGO Entertainment. “However, at the same time the numerous outcries from Press and Players around the globe convinced us that the market eagerly awaits our title and that we have to keep working towards launch.”
