Adventuring in Warlords of Draenor has just become easier than ever before. In Patch 6.2 players will have access to the brand spanking new Adventure Guide. Taking the place of the old Dungeon Journal, the Adventure Guide is an amped up version of this tool. Designed specifically to help you keep track of what your character should be seeing or doing in game, it can be counted on to point you in the right direction.

No longer will a player have to wonder what zone they should be in, what dungeons they should be taking on, or what type of PvP action their character can take part in. With a simple click of your mini menu (or Shift-J), all these questions and more can be answered with ease. Don't simply take my word for it, check out the Adventure Guide in all its glory below:

Suggested Content

Unlike the Dungeon Journal before it, the Adventure Guide in Warlords of Draenor Patch 6.2 is a bit more helpful. A brand new tab labled “Suggsted Content” makes suggestions of content that your character should currently be taking part in. Suggestions may include a zone, raid instance, or PvP option appropriate for your character level. The Adventure Guide may also indicated the level of gear found in one of its suggestions as well as a sample reward.

As you can see for a level 100 character, with my lack of PvP experience, the Adventure Guide makes relevant content suggestions such as; Tanaan Jungle, Hellfire Citadel, and Skirmishes. You can even choose to join instances or PvP groups right from this page. While awesome at level 100, this feature will be especially useful while leveling up. It should take a lot of the guess work out of where your character should be and what it should be doing at any given time.

Dungeons and Raids

Besides the Suggestion Content tab, the Adventure Guide hosts two other tabs; Dungeons and Raids. These should look very familiar, as they were both already a part of the old Dungeon Journal. Remember, the Adventure Guide has replaced the Dungeon Journal in Patch 6.2.

Dungeons

As in the past, the Dungeon tab will show you a list of Dungeons available for each expansion. After choosing an expansion, click on a dungeon name to view important information about that dungeon. This information includes a brief overview of the dungeon, boss models and tips on how to battle them, and a list of loot.

Raids

Just like the Dungeon tab, the Raid tab has remained in tact and rather untouched as part of the Adventure Guide. This tab allows you to view Raids from every expansion pack; Classic, Warlords of Draenor, Cataclysm, etc. Players can choose to click on a specific raid to get an overview of the raid, boss fight details, loot, and more.

What do you think of the new Adventure Tab? How do you think it will improve your play experience? What other functions would you like to see it have? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below. For more information about Patch 6.2 check out 6.2 PTR Patch Notes.
