Guild Wars 2 Profession Preview: The Guardian

Updated Thu, Jan 27, 2011 by Xerin

The Guardian is the latest profession announced by ArenaNet and also the first unique one to Guild Wars 2. It's focused around defense, bringing together some of the more interesting Warrior/Paragon builds we've seen from the original Guild Wars into one very unique and interesting profession. Come and find out what makes Guardians the true guardians of virtue in Guild Wars 2 here at Ten Ton Hammer.

ArenaNet has announced their newest profession, the Guardian, which is also the first profession unique to Guild Wars 2 and is the second Soldier profession. The Guardian is a defender of virtue and appears to be a fighter devoting itself mostly to defense. These Guardians of Virtue may be the ones holding back the crowd when the fight gets rowdy, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t capable of also leading the assault and smashing hammers with the best of them. This is the first profession “unique” to Guild Wars 2 and it appears to take a lot of popular Warrior builds and smash them together to make one awesome profession.

Our Guardian preview goes over what the Guardian is in addition to some other interesting facts. Be sure to check it out.
