ArenaNet Previews Next Guild Wars 2 Beta Event, Doubles Server Capacity

Guild Wars 2 kicks off its second Beta Weekend this Friday and ArenaNet is prepped and ready for the next event. According to a recent post to the ArenaNet website, server capacity for the upcoming event has been doubled to accommodate the high number of expected players.

In additionally, ArenaNet also posted a preview of the upcoming event and what new and returning players can expect to find this weekend in Guild Wars 2. Some of the highlights include: keeping characters from the previous event, Explorable Mode for the Ascalonian Catacombs, the addition of the new Gendarran Fields area, new content for World vs World battles, automated PvP tournaments and more. The next Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend event begins Friday, June 8th.
