Guild Wars 2 Celebrates First Anniversary at PAX Prime

Posted Wed, Aug 28, 2013 by Martuk

Almost one year ago, Guild Wars 2 officially shipped out of the launch gate. Since that time, the MMORPG has proven to be quite profitable for ArenaNet, and is still showing signs of growth in its playerbase.

This weekend ArenaNet will celebrate the first full year of service for Guild Wars 2 in style with an anniversary bash at PAX Prime. If you have plans to attend the event on Saturday, August 31st, you may want to drop by the Madison Ballroom in downtown Seattle’s Renaissance Hotel located just a few blocks from PAX for half a day of celebration activities. Attendees can expect to see a preview-filled Living World panel discussion, exclusive sneak peeks at new content, the finals of the invitational PvP tournament, and an anniversary party filled with music, prize giveaways, and a mysterious surprise.

The full schedule for the event is available on the Guild Wars 2 website complete with livestream details in multiple languages.
