Guild Wars 2 Dev Blog and Video Details Designing the Sylvari

ArenaNet returns this week with more Sylvari details in what may be a literal “birds and the bees” talk for the Guild Wars 2 race. A new developer blog from writer Angel Leigh McCoy goes into detail about the creation of the Sylvari and how the race is born (grown?) from the pods of the Pale Tree and the beliefs and diversity of the race.

Additionally, a new video has been added to the ArenaNet YouTube page that expands on the race further with input from Game Designer Ree Soesbee and Character Artist Kristen Perry, who offer their thoughts and what they hoped to accomplish in designing the Sylvari.
