Guild Wars 2 Devs Discuss World vs World Battles

One of the biggest selling point features for Guild Wars 2 is its World vs World vs World combat. The idea behind the feature is that three teams, each representing their server, will enter a battlefield to fight a war that could last up to two weeks with hundreds of players involved. But when it comes to a winner, to quote Highlander, “There can be only one.”

This week Guild Wars 2 game designers Matt Witter and Mike Ferguson have posted a new video explaining how it all works, and what players can earn for their server by smiting their enemies and taking important locations. Give it a look below.
