Guild Wars 2 Global Brand Director Talks Accessibility and Free-to-Play Gaming

Guild Wars 2 is certainly shaping up to be one of the games that many players are anxious to get their hands on. This week Video Gamer got the chance to speak with ArenaNet's Global Brand Director Chris Lye about the accessibility of Guild Wars 2, the future of free-to-play online gaming and how ArenaNet hopes that Guild Wars 2 will attract players from all sorts of genres.

For us it's not simply about delivering a great MMO, we want Guild Wars 2 to be a great game – period! We think that Guild Wars 2's lack of a subscription fee and its accessible and more action-oriented combat will appeal to a lot of PC games who would not otherwise consider playing an MMO.
