FOROCHEL REPUTATION

The Lossoth of Forochel are a leery and suspicious lot.
Outsiders are assumed to be in cahoots with the Witch-King of Angmar
until they prove themselves otherwise, and the Lossoth reputation
faction starts at Outsider rather than Neutral, which adds one
additional step to the process. 

Reputation is earned by recovering items of value to the
Lossoth people. They place no value in gems (just ask Arvedui) and
southern-made clothing is worthless as a deterrent against the biting,
frozen winds. The items they prize are made of mammoth ivory and bone -
spearheads recovered from game animals and pests, bone-bladed shoes
which they use to glide across the ice, and crude Gauredain weapons
recovered from slain foes. The most reliable way to find these items is
to kill beasts (for the spear-heads) or Gauredain (for the claws and
luistin).

Because the Lossoth place no value in southerner-crafted
goods,
there are no craftable reputation items for this faction. Loot-drop rep
items are relatively rare and command a high price at auction. Quests
bestowed by Lossoth NPCs usually have reputation rewards, and there are
2 repeatable quests at each of the four hunting camps. Because of the
smaller number of quests here and the lack of crafted reputation items,
gaining standing with the Lossoth is a bit "grindier" than some other
factions.

REWARDS

Way back in the halcyon days of yore, when the level cap was
50 and your grandad rode around on his dinosaur, Lossoth gear was
endgame stuff, and among the best in the game. Currently, it is still
pretty good for late-40s, and the unique, distinctive look of the
crafted stuff allows the reputation-based items to retain much of their
former value. Recipes purchased from the various armour vendors inside
the Great Lodge of Suri-kyla can be used to make standard, level 42
armours or ceremonial versions:
