Put on your party hats. The Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO) turns six this month and Turbine has a series of planned festivities to celebrate the occasion. Festivities begin on April 16th with the Anniversary Festival events such as the Bree-Land and Shire horse races, new quests & deeds, and the return of the epic Beer Battle event. During the festivities, players will receive anniversary gifts based on their account status.  

In addition to the festivities, LOTRO will also be hosting a Double XP event from April 18th through April 21st.

The festivities start on April 16th and will remain available until April 30th. Have fun!
