LOTRO Expansion Images and Video Previews Rohan Landscape

Posted Thu, Jun 21, 2012 by Martuk

Whether you first tuned in to The Lord of the Rings saga by way of the books or Peter Jackson's movie trilogy, the lands of Rohan remain an epic signature of Tolkien’s finest work in both forms of media. The upcoming Riders of Rohan expansion for The Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO) will finally ride players into the lands of Rohan for the first time, where some of the most epic encounters and battles of Middle-earth took place. And while we may be a ways away from the epic battle of Helm’s Deep or freeing King Theoden from the poisonous speech of Grima Wormtongue, we’ll be getting our first taste of the new lands when the expansion launches on September 5th.

In the meantime, feel free to chew on these new screenshots and fly-through video from Turbine for a look at some of the lands that will be added to the LOTRO  with the Riders of Rohan expansion.
