Tired of seeing the same old 9 heroes every time you play Hearthstone? Well, it seems that's about to change, as brand new heroes are being introduced into the game. This does not mean new classes, however, as each hero will simply be a cosmetic replacement, sporting the same card pool, hero power, etc. as their predecessors. So, what will you get?

Each of these new heroes will have their own animated portrait, regardless of how many wins you have (though you will still get the golden version after 500 wins with the class.) The hero power also seems to be animated as well.

Emotes will be redone as well, designed to fit the personality of the new hero. Finally, you'll also get a brand new card back

Each new hero will cost $9.99 USD, which includes all of the features listed above. Whether or not this is worth it is up to you, and there's already been a fair amount of discussion in the community on both sides of that argument. However you feel about it, the ability to freshen up the game a bit is certainly welcome, and being allowed to express a little more individuality (Alliance vs. Horde, perhaps?) is something many players will find quite appealing.
