After a disappointing 7th/8th place finish at the 2015 Heroes of the Storm World Championship, Tempo Storm has decided to make some changes to their player roster. Both Christopher "Zuna" Buechter and Taylor "Arthelon" Eder are no longer with the team, as Tempo Storm attempts to make a stronger push during the 2016 season.

For several months, Tempo Storm was winning just about any tournament they competed in, looking to be the best team in North America. However, they've been playing second fiddle to Cloud9 in recent months, and were unable to win a series in the group stage of the World Championship. One can only speculate that after being a top team for so long, such a performance may have been a motivating factor behind significant roster changes.

The organization had this to say:

During their time with Tempo Storm, Zuna and Arthelon demonstrated great skill and passion, and we are confident they will thrive in another environment. We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors, and look forward to seeing their upcoming accomplishments.

Tempo Storm has many great things planned for 2016, but above all else, we want one thing – to be the best. Our fans' support through an amazing first year of Heroes will not be forgotten.

We will be back as the kings of NA.
