Mitch "Krepo" Voorspoels has been an extremely popular figure in the League of Legends scene for a long time. Making his name with CLG.EU, then with Evil Geniuses and Elements, Krepo has long stood out in the Western LoL scene for his strong Support play and exceptionally likable personality. It was for this reason that many fans were disappointed when he announced that he was retiring from professional play, and we wondered what was next for him.

After already being a part of the analyst desk during the Season 3 and Season 4 World Championships, Krepo is taking the next logical step by joining the European League Championship Series cast full time. He will be a part of both the casting and analyst team, bringing his unique insights and sense of humor to Europe's broadcast. Fans loved his analysis in the past, but we'll now see him as a color caster for the first time. It's not the easiest job in the world, but Krepo can always turn to someone like Martin "Deficio" Lynge for advice, another player-turned-caster who has excelled in his new role.

All in all, it's exciting to see how this new chapter in Krepo's career develops. He's already in Berlin practicing with the team, and we'll get to see his first taste of casting this Thursday, as the EU LCS returns to action.
