Mass Effect 1 & 2 are just a couple of the games on sale this weekend.

Steam Weekend Deals

We begin our adventure with Steam, which has quite a few games up for discount this weekend that include Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition ($4.99), Borderlands 2 ($13.59), Mass Effect 2 Digital Deluxe Edition ($7.49), Mass Effect ($4.99), Hitman Absolution ($12.49), Guns of Icarus Online ($9.99), and several other titles such as Hydrophobia: Prophecy, Anomaly 2, the Postal series, and even more.

In addition to the deals, you can also play Counter Strike: Global Offensive for free this week with the option to buy the game for 50% off ($7.49).

GameStop’s Impulse

Jumping over to GameStop there’s quite a few things on sale that may interest a lot of players. The recently released Star Trek is already on sale for $24.99, which may not be too surprising given the issues that the game experienced at launch and the near universal panning it received in reviews, but there it is.

Along with a panned Star Trek game you’ll also find games such as Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City ($14.99), Might & Magic Heroes VI: Gold Edition ($14.99), Dead Rising 2 ($9.99), Dead Rising 2: Off the Record ($14.99), Street Fighter X Tekken ($24.99), and Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition ($19.99).

There’s also a 2K Bundle on sale for $69.99 that includes such gems as Civilizations III, Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: The Complete Collection, Sid Meier’s Civilization V, X-Com Complete (this is the original and does not include X-Com: Enemy Unknown), Borderlands, CivCity: Rome, BioShock, Duke Nukem Forever, Sid Meier’s Pirates, Mafia II, and Shattered Union.

The Duke is back in his not-so-illustrious sequel.

Gamefly

Over at Gamefly’s digital distribution site formerly known as Direct2Drive, we find yet more gaming goodness for cheap. If you’re a fan of the A Game of Thrones series (who isn’t?) there are two games up for sale this weekend with A Game of Thrones ($14.99) and A Game of Thrones: Genesis ($12.49). Additionally, you’ll also find Blood Bowl: Chaos Edition ($14.99) and Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition ($9.99), Divinity II: Developer’s Cut ($9.99), Cities XL Platinum Edition ($20.99), Farming Simulation 2013 ($20.09), and the RPG Of Orcs and Men ($19.99).

There's also a temporary game code that offers 20% off of your order, so be sure to enter the following code on checkout: GFDMAY20.

GamersGate

Bouncing over to GamersGate there are a few other fun titles available this weekend. If you’ve wanted to give Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning a try, you can pick it up this weekend along with all of its DLC for just $7.49, just don’t expect a sequel any time soon. With Metro: Last Light's release this week you may want to get caught up on the previous game, Metro 2033, which is also available for $5.08. Other titles on sale include a slew of Jagged Alliance games ranging from $2.50 to $12.49 for a classic bundle pack, the Men of War Bundle Pack for $17.50, and a number of others.

Green Man Gaming

Our next stop takes us to Green Man Gaming, where you can get your hands on Chivalry: Medieval Warfare for $8.49, multiple games in the Worms series as well as the full collection for $42.49. The site also recently added a number of titles from TellTale Games for discount such as The Walking Dead collection ($9.99), Back to the Future ($6.24), Jurassic Park: The Game ($7.49), Tales of Monkey Island ($8.47), and games from the Sam & Max and the Wallace and Gromits series each for under $10.

There's also a 20% discount code for select games, so try this if you do make a purchase: GMG20-LLASD-D8WBQ.

Fans of strategy games aren't left out on the deals this weekend.

Amazon

If you were hoping to get your hands on X-Com: Enemy Unknown that wasn’t in that previous 2K bundle from GameStop, here’s another option. Amazon has a huge number of deals this weekend as well and one of them includes the Fireaxis Complete Pack that contains Sid Meier’s Civilization V: Gold Edition, Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: The Complete Edition, and X-Com: Enemy Unknown for $19.99.

A few other deals on the table include Age of Empires III Complete Collection ($9.99), Mass Effect 3 Digital Deluxe Edition ($8.99), the Deep Silver Power Pack Volume 2, which includes Saints Row 2, Dead Island: Game of the Year Edition, Saints Row the Third – The Full Package, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky for $17.99, the FEAR trilogy ($9.99), Batman Arkham City Game of the Year Pack ($11.49), BioShock & BioShock 2 Combo Pack ($4.99), the Fable Trilogy Bundle ($9.99), the Dragon Age Pack with Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition (comes with the Awakening expansion and all DLC packs) & Dragon Age 2 ($9.99), and the Dead Space Dual Pack, which includes Dead Space & Dead Space 2 ($7.99) in the original creepy incarnation of the series before it had its horror element butchered in the name of multiplayer in the third.

There are a couple of other bundles as well with the Battlefield Fan Pack for you military shooter fans that includes Battlefield 2 Complete Collection, Battlefield 3, Battlefield Bad Company, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam expansion for $19.99, a Crazy Action Pack Bundle with Borderlands Game of the Year Edition, Duke Nukem Forever, and Darkness II for $9.99. Last up is the Hitman Triple Threat Pack with Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Codename 47, and Hitman: Blood Money for $7.49.

If the bundle deals aren't your thing many of the same games are also available at discounted prices individually throughout the rest of May. Just a of the games available that I would recommend are The Walking Dead collection from TellTale Games ($9.99), Deus Ex Human Revolution ($4.99), Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition ($7.49), Amnesia: The Dark Descent ($2.99), Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine ($14.99), and Assassin's Creed Revelations ($10.19). Amazon actually has the largest selection of games on sale this month with over 300 choices, so I would recommend browsing it for ourself if you're looking for some good cheap games to help pad out your collection.

Prince of Persia, Heroes of Might & Magic, and more are available at GoG.

Good Old Games

Our last stop takes us to Good Old Games (GoG), who is hosting a sale on Ubisoft games this weekend. In this sale you’ll find a number of classic titles for pretty cheap that can be purchased individually or as a bundle for $186.59. There are 41 games in total that include Beyond Good and Evil, Far Cry, Far Cry 2: Fortune’s Edition, Panzer General 2, Panzer General 3D Assault, Assassin’s Creed: Director’s Cut, Heroes of Might & Magic 1-9, the Prince of Persia series, The Settlers RTS series, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, the Rayman series, and several others. The best part is that if you don’t want the whole package you can pick and choose the ones you do want and still get them pretty cheap as the prices range from $2.99 to $4.99 with the only exception being the Assassin’s Creed: Director’s Cut, which costs $9.99, and you can get just grab it from Amazon for $4.99 instead during its deal. So save yourself five bucks courtesy of Tips from Tuk.

And there you have it folks. That’s this weekend’s gaming deals in a one easy to find place via a giant wall of numbery text. If you found this useful let us know in the comments below and we may do it more often. This initial outing is an experiment of my own volition so feedback is welcome.
