Patch Highlights

  • A completely revamped User Interface has been introduced to the game! The UI will continue to be polished over the coming months, so please pardon our dust.
  • Stun Breakout Gameplay has been changed. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on this mechanic over the last few months!
  • PvP gear (especially at level 50) has had a balance pass done. This affects your current gear, so check the proper section below.
  • Runes and rune sets have had a balance pass. This affects your current gear, so check out the details below before you head back into the world!
  • Higher difficulty encounters and creatures have been added throughout the world. These creatures will grant larger quest credit and XP for those willing to take on the added difficulty.

General

  • Fixed an issue that could cause initial reputation values with a faction to start at their parent reputation's level instead of at zero.
  • Abandoning an item imbuement quest will now reset all progress on that quest.
  • Players can no longer logout instantly in enemy cities.
  • Standing in a river can no longer be used to prevent idle disconnect. However, players can now exit the game while floating in water.
  • Players will no longer be able to start a Challenge while dead. We think being Dead is enough of a challenge in itself.
  • Fixed some cases where forward dash animations might play when dashing backwards.
  • Characters should no longer rotate into awkward positions when sitting in chairs, because that’s just weird.
  • Changes have been made that should reduce game latency when realms have high player populations.
  • Made some improvements to movement which will make landing and dodging enemy and player telegraphs more accurate.
  • Fixed an issue where players would sometimes be able to run around in a dungeon and monsters wouldn't spawn.
  • Fixed a problem loading screen that hung indefinitely if the player character was in a group.
  • Fixed a realm crash that could occur when weekly raid instances expired.
  • Fixed a crash that sometimes caused auction items disappearing.
  • A message now displays when a mentor stops mentoring a group member.
  • Pressing the Interact key (default 'F') will interact with the selected target instead of the nearest target. If no target is selected or the selected target cannot be interacted with, the nearest target in range will be interacted with instead.

Installation/Launcher

  • The DirectX version being used is now displayed at bottom of the login screen.
  • The installer dialog tabs are now in the correct order.
  • When a corrupt file is found, it is now flagged to be repaired by the launcher the next time the game is run.
  • Added the document ThirdPartySoftware.txt to the Client folder; this covers any third party software licenses.
  • You must accept the EULA before logging in. You must!
  • Fixed an issue where, while logging in, players would receive the "No Realms Available" message when there actually were realms available.

Guilds

  • The amount of guild money available should now display correctly for a players wishing to repair their items.
  • The guild repair button will now be properly enabled only when there are enough funds available.
  • Guild members with the permission 'Emblem and Standard' can now access the emblem editor.
  • Fixed an issue where the promoting or demoting of guild members would crash the realm, because no one is that special.
  • The Guild Bank Management tab is now accessible if the guild member has 'Bank Tab Rename' or 'Spend Influence' permission.
  • Guild bank withdrawal limits no longer affect how much a member can deposit into the guild bank.
  • The guild item repair panel has been re-organized.
  • Guild Experience, Prestige, Coin and Reputation perks now also provide an 8% bonus to quest and event rewards.

Creatures

  • Fixed an issue where creatures could aggro on (friendly) tether units that they themselves had cast on an enemy unit.
  • Razortails Auto Attacks should now animate properly.
  • Pollen Power now displays the correct text in the tooltip and displays the correct buff icon.
  • Radiant Rally should no longer be using visual effects that do not match the spell.
  • Clowder Clout's tooltip is now accurate.
  • Stinger Blast's telegraph wave no longer reaches the edge before the action occurs.
  • Removed erroneous circle telegraph from humanoid pistol spell, Napalm Spray.
  • Fixed humanoid pistol spell, Blazing Akimbo, so Players are no longer hit by the final blast when outside of the telegraph area.
  • Synced caster hit animations and visual effects to humanoid pistol spell, Pistol Whip.
  • Increased casting time between humanoid pistols spells, Snap Shot and Chain Energy Drain, by half a second.
  • Cast bar now accurately depicts duration of humanoid pistol spell, Chain Energy Drain.
  • The Air Elemental's, Thunder Strike, should now give more time to avoid the follow-up attack, Thunder Storm. Thunder Storm has also been updated with the addition of a warning telegraph to alert to the upcoming damage field.
  • Visual effects for Air Elemental spell, Thunder Bolts, now display ground effects not a missile.
  • Explosive Strike now consistently hits players as intended.
  • The final telegraph for Scorchwing's spell, Fiery Crash, now functions correctly.
  • Gnarls is now more difficult to defeat.
  • Killing either the Hoarding Stemdragon or Doomthorn the Ancient will now correctly dispel the Crazy Eyes debuff from any affected Players in the area.
  • Stemdragon creatures casting, Pollen Cloud when killed, will no longer attempt to finish casting, and instead will die correctly.
  • Visual effects for, Net of Thorns, will now correctly be removed if the spell is interrupted for any reason.
  • Adjusted buzzbing spell, Honey Bomb, so that visual effects disappear properly when the caster is stunned or killed.
  • Active Field Generators now despawn correctly when the Defensive Protocol Unit is killed.
  • The Soulcore Interrogator's spell, Shield Beacon, will no longer clip through the caster.
  • The Nerid Resonator spell, Powered Strikes, telegraph wave now accurately matches the timing of the spell.
  • Poisoned Cells can now be dispelled.
  • The visual effects for the Orbitog spell, Twin Eye Beams, now disappear properly if the caster is stunned.
  • Adjusted telegraph outline for Clone of the Darkspeaker spell, Cauterize.
  • Clawed Fury will now appropriately follow up Pinning Strike, and properly do damage.
  • Pinning Strike's impact effects have been updated.
  • When following Siphon Mind, the Strain Corruptor spell, Persistent Power, will now correctly target and affect players in the telegraph area.
  • After Moltan's death, any active Moltlings and Lava Pools will now correctly despawn from the world.
  • After Merfee's death, areas of ongoing damage created by Makeshift Merfee's Molotov Cocktails will now correctly despawn from the world.
  • Makeshift Merfee's, Round on the House, now has an accurate cast bar.
  • Slice and Dice's visual effects now display correctly when interrupted.
  • Damage from spell, Arc of Steel, from last telegraph now happens at the correct time.
  • Following an Eye Gouge, the Sinister Strike spell now does the correct amount of damage.
  • The impact effect of the squirg spell, Spit, will now play at the proper time.
  • General creature crowd control spells that are followed up by another telegraph should no longer be able to fire as soon as combat starts.
  • Power Surge will now behave properly if the creature is killed while casting the spell.
  • Spider Mine Swarm will now properly spawn the bots at the target's location instead of the casters.
  • Aggregor the Dust Eater should now properly cast telegraphs.
  • Incendiary Ammo visuals have been fixed so the creature's weapon no longer disappears during the spell.
  • After stunning a player with Guerrilla Attack, Ironjaw's Tail Spin attack will now correctly damage players.
  • Clone of Darkspeaker will now properly cast telegraphs.

  • Dark Enigma's cast animations now complete correctly before it starts inflicting damage.
  • Replaced 'ice' visual effects on humanoid caster spell Flash Freeze.
  • Liquid Armor should now behave properly when interrupted.
  • Nourishment should now behave properly when interrupted.
  • Cycle of Life should now behave properly when interrupted.

  • The Life Elemental spell, Restless Roots, will now correctly hit its entire telegraph area.
  • Superheated should now behave properly when interrupted.
  • Siphon Mind no longer inflicts root and damage over time. Instead, this spell now briefly blinds the Player.
  • The Fiery Arcs spell now deals less damage.
  • Group content creatures' (such as World Bosses) auto attacks should no longer hit as hard as they used to.
  • Invert's tether is now easier to target and destroy.
  • For the Scorchwing and Grendelus encounters, several Area of Denial spells now have the possibility to crit.
  • Fighting Dirty's telegraph timing is now more accurate.
  • The humanoid spell, Cold Snap's, final telegraph no longer waves twice for only a single application of damage.
  • The creature Doomsting is now more appropriately sized to match his attack telegraph size.
  • The timing of Leaping Swipe's telegraph now coincides with damage output.
  • Adjusted the shape and visual effects of Life Elemental spell, Grasping Vines' telegraph.
  • Adjusted the timing and visual effects of buzzbing spell, Stinger Torrent's telegraph.

Characters - General

  • Telegraphs no longer get stuck being displayed after combat.
  • Added new character hair options in Character Creation.
  • Character Creation now offers various body types for all races and genders.
  • Updated all dye item icons with new art that displays their color.
  • Players can now delete characters from the character selection screen, even after that character becomes a home owner.
  • Players can no longer have numbers in their character name. Characters with numbers in their names will be forced to rename themselves.
  • Draken women can no longer swim vertically like a dolphin on top of the water because, well, they’re not dolphins.
  • A second tab for creating a character no longer appears in the character selection menu when logging in an account with no characters
  • Foreign language characters are now allowed in character names.
  • Players using their Recall ability inside of a cross realm instance should now be returned to the correct realm.

Emotes

  • The "/stand" animation will now transition more smoothly from sitting.

Items

  • Tech Boost - Fixed a tooltip error with the duration.
  • Renamed the item "Bounty Hunter's Halo" to "Bounty Hunter's Mask" to better describe its appearance.
  • Renamed head armor items that were incorrectly labeled as shoulder armor.
  • The item Frosted Radiant Hand is no longer restricted to Engineers.
  • The cost of dyes has been revised so the cheapest price has increased, and the most expensive has decreased.
  • Updated all dye item icons with new art that displays their color.
  • Osun Heavy Exanite Collar, Gleaming Exanite Pauldrons, and Trogun's Grand Pauldrons now correctly appear as shoulders on Player's character.
  • Fixed a tooltip error with the duration on Finesse and Insight Boosts

    • Potions have received a balance pass.
    • Potions no longer break Stealth unless they deal damage.

    • Break Free can now be used while under all Crowd Control effects.
    • The Break Free gadget now displays the correct amount of Absorb.
  • Fixed names on various items as well as renamed some items at were incorrectly labeled.

  • The 'Manta Hoverboard' has had its price changed from 300 credits to 300 elder gems.

  • Pricing and prerequisites for Elder Gem items have been updated.
  • Datacore Fissionist's Respirator now properly displays as head armor instead of boots.
  • Flamesmoke Headcover no longer appears in the Feet slot when equipping.
  • Liquid Rage, Pain Suppression Device, and Unstable Brutality Boost items are now named "Liquid Focus", "Hotfoot Helper" and "Reactive Brutality Boost" to better reflect what the items do.
  • The Amp Injector is now named the "Freedom Injector" to help clarify that this item is not part of the AMP system.
  • The Arct Arms vendor's wares are no longer called "Arct Arms Arms."
  • New icons have been added to all raid items.
  • Reduced the regular world drop rate of Epic items.
  • Fixed several quest rewards that were not the correct item level. In almost all cases, items are more powerful than they were before.
  • For Grimvault vendors, Faerybloom Medispray will no longer appear in the Meals and Ingredients section.

  • Rare quality Elder Gem rewards now require the achievement for killing the final boss in the Veteran dungeons.
  • Epic quality Elder Gem rewards now require the achievement for getting a Gold Medal in the Veteran dungeons and adventures. The exact requirement varies from item to item.
  • Seeds have been removed from the Chest of Crafting Components rewards on Challenges.

Classes - General

  • Updated the Stuffed! buff so that eating new food doesn't incorrectly cancel out your previous buff without giving you the new buff.
  • Using Void Slip no longer makes some objects disappear.
  • Assault Power and Support Power now give more stat per budget point; 1 stat per point up from 0.5.
  • Cooldown timers will now appear on spells fired because of ability queuing.
  • All class Cleanses and Purges will now remove High Priority effects first.
    • Heal Debuffs can no longer be Deflected but are now set to High Priority.
    • Many powerful class buffs and debuffs have been flagged as High Priority.
  • All class Crowd Control effects without Breakout Gameplay (Blind, Disorient, Root, Daze, and Snare) are now dispellable.
  • All class Crowd Control effects with Breakout Gameplay (Knockdown, Stun, Subdue, and Tether Mine) are no longer dispellable.
  • Fixed a number of debuffs that were not dispellable when they should have been.
  • Fixed a number of Crowd Control effects that could have missed when Blinded.
  • Stances can now be changed while mounted without causing issues.
  • Pets should no longer gain Strikethrough, Deflect, Crit, or Crit Severity per level.
  • Overloaded shields can no longer be healed.
  • Stun Breakout Gameplay has been changed based on feedback. This change is intended to remove the button spamming, while also making keyboard macros less viable.
    • Players no longer have to rapidly press the interact button to get out of Stuns.
    • Now a random movement button (Forward, Backward, Left or Right) is selected.
    • Holding down the corresponding button will allow you to get out of the stun faster.
  • Spells that show an 'animated field' visual effect should now cast properly.

AMPs

  • Added 80 AMP Icons.
  • AMPs have received a major balance pass. In general, they were previously much stronger than intended.
  • Fixed an issue where certain AMPs would cause some collapsible sections in vendor menus to automatically close.
  • All of the new AMPs listed in their Character sections also have tradable versions that drop from World loot.
  • All Inlaids now require an AMP Unlock Item, and those new AMP Unlocks will now be found in the world.
  • Updated all AMP Unlock Items to have their proper rarity (Common, Uncommon, or Rare).
  • Updated all AMP Buff and Debuff icons.
  • Swapped the positions of the Strikethrough and Lifesteal AMP series on Tank classes.
  • Ensured that AMPs that should proc off heals only proc off direct heals.
  • Ensured that AMPs that should proc off damage, only proc off direct damage.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing some AMPs to stop proc’ing after an extended amount of time.
  • Fixed an issue causing some AMPs to persist through swapping action sets.
  • Fixed a number of AMP Item Unlocks on the Engineer and Spellslinger.
  • Abilities can now be purchased directly from the Action Set Builder, rather than requiring an Ability Vendor.
  • The AMP interface now includes a button to reset AMP points from anywhere. Resets now cost credits.
  • Cooldown Reduction AMPs will now only reduce the cooldown on class abilities.
  • All AMPs are now categorized as, well, AMPs. They will now display that they are an AMP, and for which class in their tooltips. They should also now appear in the Auction House correctly.
  • New AMPs are available at vendors throughout the game.

Engineer - General

  • When a channeled spell reaches its maximum, it should no longer print to the combat log.
  • Bot summon cooldowns will now reset after being mounted for 2 seconds.
  • Engineer Bots no longer cause Daze.

Abilities

  • Personal Defense Unit
    • Now grants the correct amount of Absorb.
    • The Defense Buff now displays the correct amount in the tool tip.
  • Shock Pulse
    • The Tier upgrade value no longer reports that damage scales from Assault Power.
  • Disruptive Module
    • The Tier 8 bonus now activates when you are between 30 and 70 Volatility.
    • Fixed the tooltip to more accurately express what the ability does.
  • Quick Burst
    • Fixed a bug with the Tier 8 bonus that prevented the increased damage from applying.
  • Innate
    • Exo Suit visuals now appear in PvP areas.
  • Zap
    • Tier 8 no longer deals base damage.
  • Ricochet
    • Fixed an issue in which this ability would sometimes not hit additional targets if the original target dies.
  • Target Acquisition

Esper General

  • Warden no longer follows the caster.
  • Optimized some Esper abilities' visual effects.
  • Healing Touch no longer also requires the caster to be below 30% Health.
  • Soothe displays the correct amount of Focus used per charge level
  • Geists, Phantoms, and Figments now all have a 10m range on their attacks and will not attack if Rooted or Tethered.
  • Psi Point Builders now correctly generate a Psi Point when they deal a killing blow on a Foe.
  • We ran an internal audit on all Esper healing rewards after our changes to Esper stats a few patches ago, and found that many of the rewards had not yet been updated. Many Esper healing items were stated with Insight and Moxie. These items will be changed over to Insight and Finesse. There were also several areas where you could only get an Insight-Moxie Light Armor or healing Accessory reward. We’ve gone through and added new Insight-Finesse rewards to several of these rewards points.

  • Shields can no longer be healed when overloaded.
  • Energize, Extricate, Paralytic Surge, Urgency, and Calm can now be cast while casting another ability, but doing so will interrupt the first cast.
  • Debuffs and fields are no longer be removed when the Medic dies.
  • Fixed bugs with several debuffs appearing to last longer than their actual duration.
  • Critical Attacks and Heals now grant the Clear! buff enabling the use of Atomize and Dual Shock. Using either ability removes the buff.

  • Quick Dodge
    • Fixed a bug where a Dash Token would not be restored when rolling out of Knockdowns at full Dash Tokens.
  • Recharge
    • Fixed a bug where the Assault and Support Power buff was not being applied to allies when using Tier 8.
  • Urgency
    • Tiers 1-8 now show a buff icon.
    • Reduced the base movement speed to 20%, down from 40%.
    • Fixed a bug with the Tier 8 bonus that was preventing the damage and healing from firing.

Spellslinger - General

  • Allies' spell telegraphs now display with the correct colors.
  • Cooldowns now always transfer over when changing tiers of a spell. As well as remain on a spell regardless of changing tiers or action sets.
  • Using Void Slip no longer makes some objects disappear. This is most noticeable in Adventures.
  • Dying in the Void no longer prevents your friends from resurrecting you.
  • When spell surged, the cast bar should now always match the execution time.
  • The Spatial Shift spell will now correctly send target to caster's original location.

PvP - General

  • Combat Rewards/Momentum are now correctly awarded for kills in PvP if you are at level 50.
  • All PvP match reward bags have adjusted rewards based on the average match length.
  • Fixed an issue where the temporary PvP immunity and recent death effects were not applying when the player died to a player in open world PvP.
  • Some exploits involving teleportation have been fixed.
  • There are now PvP and PvE guards stationed in the Crimson Badlands and Northern Wastes.
  • PvP scoreboard update frequency has been reduced.
  • Fixed an issue where Players might be placed at the beginning of a fresh dungeon upon login.
  • Fixed issue where players would be removed from the matchmaking queue whenever they changed continents or instances.
  • Players who are idle from a battleground match for more than 2 minutes, will now be kicked out of the battleground.
  • Fixed an error which could cause incorrect zone completion scores to be shown in a PvP match.
  • The following Crowd Control effects now have Diminishing Returns in PvP: Pull, Knockback, and Position Switch.

Items

  • Several PvP Imbuement items will now require winning a PvP match instead of just killing players inside the match.
  • Loot Bags from Warplots and Halls of the Bloodsworn now have double the rewards.
  • All PvP Loot Bags now have a chance to roll on the World Loot table equivalent to your level – this table has a multitude of possible rewards including imbuement items, random gear, rune fragments, class AMPs, and more.
  • All PvP Loot Bags are now Soulbound.
  • All money rewards have been adjusted to the average length of the PvP event. This means that Warplots and Halls of the Bloodsworn will award the most monetary rewards, then Walatiki, and lastly Arenas will award the least amount.
  • The T1 PvP weapons (first epics) have had their AP/SP values adjusted. The AP/SP split was previously 65%/35%; it is now 67.5%/32.5%.
  • The T2 PvP weapons (currently the best available) have had their AP/SP values adjusted. The AP/SP split was previously 65%/35%; it is now 72.5%/27.5%.
  • Visual displays have been updated for all level 50 PvP gear. This will affect your existing items.
  • All Level 50 PvP gear has had a re-itemization pass. This will affect your existing items.
    • The biggest change in this pass is that PvP Offense and PvP Defense will now take up 50% of the item budget for stats. PvP Offense and PvP Defense also now offer 25 stat points per budget point, up from 0.5.
    • Because of the increase in budget to PvP stat, all other stats on items will decrease by between 5 and 15%; with your Primary stat being the least affected and secondary stats (such as Critical Hit) being the most affected.
    • All level 50 PvP items now have both PvP Offense and PvP Defense stats.
      • Because of this, all level 50 PvP items have had their total stat budgets slightly increased.
    • Warrior Assault gear has changed stats on the following pieces:

Warplots

  • The bonus provided by Nano-Pak node capture has been changed. Now, every node captured by your team will increase the damage taken for the enemy team's generators. This bonus is 5% per node and caps at 25%.
  • Players can no longer use the Teleport Center ability to teleport before the match begins.
  • Fixed an issue where players encountered forbidden zone warnings when inside the Warplot turbine areas.
  • If a Warparty has captured the majority of Nano-Pak nodes on the field, then jump pads inside the turbine exits of the enemy Warplot will be enabled for use.
  • Fixed a spelling error on Warplot boss tokens.
  • Warparties will now receive War Coins when completing plug events (i.e. destroying enemy plugs).
  • Fixed exploit for 'Pak It In' achievement.
  • The Nuclear Plant hazard will now increase its damaging effects when the hazard meter is full.
  • Fixed an issue on the Red Warplot base where players could get into a Forbidden zone.

Content - General

  • Completing the Thayd or Illium introductory tour quest now rewards the Player with a new recall spell to the capital city.
  • Challenges should now start properly even if that challenge has pending rewards that have not yet been claimed.
  • Group leaders and solo players can now reset individual instances when interacting with instance portals.
  • Higher difficulty encounters and creatures have been added throughout the world. These creatures will grant larger quest credit and XP for those willing to take on the added difficulty.
  • World Bosses no longer grant experience.
  • Various items, creatures, and effects have been tweaked so that they display in the world appropriately.
  • World Taxis now have more direct flights to various locations.
  • Fixed various quest arrows to point in the correct direction, as well as to the appropriate quest and item.
  • The 'Chazz Needs a Hug' and 'Everybody Loves Barry' achievements have been added to the Exile and Dominion Arkships. These achievements can also be completed in the capital cities.
  • The Crimson Badlands and the Containment R-12 event in Northern Malgrave can now be accessed by level 49 players.
  • Eldan Security Beams now correctly print to the combat log when damaging a player.

  • All players involved in killing a quest-related creature will receive objective credit, instead of just the player who deals the final blow.
  • Settler Sleeping Bags now grant rested XP bonus if players log out within the buff's duration.
  • Inventory restock times for vendors across the game have been updated. Players will not be able to empty the vendors out of general goods or reputation items.
  • Settler improvement reputation buffs now gives a better bonus.
  • The following 'Level Up' titles have been renamed:
    • Level 40 Exile is now 'Wrangler'
    • Level 50 Exile is now 'Vanguard'
    • Level 10 Dominion is now 'Ground Breaker'
    • Level 30 Dominion is now 'Dragoon'
  • Mailboxes have been added near Auctioneers in Capital Cities.
  • Public Events for most world bosses have been set to respawn on timers up to 6 hours for those below level 20, and up to 12 hours for those above level 20. This does not include world bosses which are involved in multiple stage events like Graymatter in Farside and the Hellrose Bowl in Malgrave.
  • Panels for the Housing of the Future quests can only be activated once while on the quests in Illium and Thayd.
  • If the opposite faction dies in Illium or Thayd, they will resurrect very, very far away.
  • The Group XP bonus has been increased for open world groups. Ungrouped players should no longer earn more per kill than players that are grouped.
  • Fixed an issue where some challenges would not give credit for the interaction that started it.
  • Fixed an error which could cause incorrect zone completion scores to be shown while in Arenas and Warplots.
  • Capital cities (Thayd, Illium) will no longer require exploration for their entire map to be revealed.
  • Experience rewards for open world public events have been tuned. These events now have a median level for purposes of distributing experience. Players more than five levels below the event will not be eligible for participation in most events, and players more than three levels above will be able to participate but will not receive experience rewards. Players above the experience threshold will continue to receive item rewards for participating.
  • The player's cursor should now be visible on the zone map while mounted.
  • The fee for taxi routes that cost more than 1 gold will now display properly.
  • Completing the Thayd and Illium introductory Tour quests now reward the player with a new recall spell to their capital city! How convenient!
  • Resetting Eldan Augmentations no longer requires being at an ability vendor.
  • Hazards should now refresh when a Player logs out and back in.
  • Players will no longer receive bonus rest XP when logging out in enemy cities.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a challenge to display text for the wrong reward tier.
  • Holdouts will now fail if all enemies have evaded for a short period of time.
  • NPCs in Holdouts should now track targets better and to properly return to the Holdout center if they are supposed to when they can't find any targets.
  • Changed the way players choose instance settings when interacting with instance portals:
    • Non-grouped players can now see the settings of an available instance they already created (and left) when they interact with an instance portal. They can chose to reenter it or reset it.
    • For grouped players, the first group member to interact with a portal can choose instance settings (formerly, only the group leader could make these choices).
    • Group leaders are also shown the current settings when using the instance portal to reenter an existing instance. They can also enter or reset the instance, although resetting the instance requires that all party members have exited.
    • Group members who aren't the leader, and aren't the first group member to interact with the portal, are taken into an existing instance.
  • Adjusted vendor prices for a wide variety of items (such as Armor, Gadgets, Gems, Ore, Food, Omniplasm, etc.)

Achievements

  • Veteran Gold Run Achievements have been added for guilds in Adventures and Dungeons.
  • The Guild 'Council of None' achievement will no longer display "0/0" in codex while in-progress.
  • All versions of the quest 'Topple the Colossus' have been removed from the ‘Fighting with Friends: Whitevale' achievement's checklists.
  • The Guild achievement 'The Influential I' now checks for 2,500,000 influence as the description states. It was previously set to 2,000,000 influence.
  • The 'Bio-Mechanical Stockade' achievement has been removed.
  • The 'Popularity Contest: Farside' achievement for Dominion Players now grants 10 achievement points.
  • Guild Shiphands mission achievements are now in the correct codex category.
  • The Collection achievement category has been removed and associated achievements have been moved into other categories.
  • The 'I Like It Rare: Crimson Badlands' achievement is no longer hidden from Exile players.
  • Shiphand Infestation - Achievement now unlocks on completion of the public event instead of when the Cyclopean Parasite is killed.
  • When viewing Guild achievements, categories that have no visible achievements will be hidden.

Algoroc

  • In the quest 'The Final Showdown,' Morek Throgg will now respawn after 30 seconds but before 60 seconds.
  • Settler Resource in DREDPlex Skyhammer is now reachable.
  • For the Settler Project 'Hycrest Hospital', taxes can only be collected once from each NPC.
  • Players can no longer avoid the dangers of the Noxious Glade in Auroria by dying.
  • In the quest 'Bladebane,' Players will now receive credit for destroying the quest-giving Voreth Weaponrack.
  • Added new map icons for select quest hubs and points of interest.

Auroria

  • Hycrest Citizens will no longer give taxes to non-settlers.
  • In the quest 'Citizen Concerns,' Players will now properly be knocked down, even while mounted, when completing the final objective.
  • For the quest 'Repurpose and evaluate,' the quest ability now functions properly, and Players can complete the quest.
  • Players are now properly addressed by Governor Aluviel while speaking to him for the quest 'A Repugnant Position.'
  • In The Fires of Kel Voreth, the debuff "Burning Flames" will now display tooltip information.
  • Soldier SWAT mission abilities now function correctly within the missions.

Celestion

  • Using Void Slip will no longer work on the extractors spawned during the "Making Contact" ambush vignette.
  • The mini-game in the quest 'Reprogramming Interrogation' will allow the Player to be inactive for a longer time before failing.
  • The Rootbrute Rally ability can no longer be used while moving in the quest 'Reclaiming Greebough.'
  • The quest 'Vegging Out,' now references the correct creature, Darkloam Veggie Thief.
  • Players can no longer steal each other’s Rootbrutes in the quest 'Reclaiming Greenbough.'
  • Players will now be dismounted when jumping through Fireflies during the quest 'Nature's Night-Light.'
  • A second quest receiver has been added to the quest 'Breaking it Down.'
  • The Sylvan Bulbs will now telegraph their movement speed buff.
  • The Eldan Security beams will now properly display a telegraph.
  • Fixed an issue that kept a conversation between Far-Trader Sobi and Tymmo Leafmane from playing.
  • For the quest 'Seeking the Source,' the size of the objective location for the Investigate the Monument to Vitara step has been reduced.
  • For the quest 'Indigenous Mapping,' the mapping jabbits can now be released on top of Horizon Plateau.
  • For the quest 'Ring of Fire,’ the bomb locations indicators are now easier to see.
  • Players can now only get one Jumpshroom buff at a time.
  • Consort Yaenna will talk to players even if they abandon then re-accept the 'Trials of a Matria' quest.
  • The correct vignette no plays when the player interacts with the Royal Pillows.
  • The target zone for the challenge 'Buzzbing Buzzkill' no longer highlights areas outside the map
  • The Bonerazer Bloodmauler and Bonerazer Firewalker now grant Nemesis reputation.
  • During the quest 'Sanctuary Enshrined,' Tender Kaiya no longer incorrectly says the Western Spirit Protector is the "final one."
  • Sparring Bonerazer Bloodmaulers now give the correct amount of credit towards the 'Bonerazer Slayer' challenge.
  • The challenge 'Up the Falls' no longer displays "0/0" in the challenge menu.
  • Player will now get an out of area warning for the challenge 'Firestorm Fighter' when leaving the Emberwood.
  • The Explorer mission 'Blades of Power' will now unlock when the player is in the proper area in.
  • All scanned creatures for Scientist path mission 'BIOLOGY: That Special Glow' now drop Vitara's Power.
  • Settlers can now backtrack their Public Safety mission through the Bounty Board.

Crimson Badlands

  • Several breadcrumb quests leading players to The Crimson Isle elder content have had their reputation rewards corrected.

Crimson Isle

  • The Exo-Lab 22 door controls now go inactive if their associated door is already open.
  • Fixed an issue where the target guns for quest 'Tactical Demolitions' stayed inactive if the quest was abandoned and then restarted.
  • The anti-air cannons in the 'Tactical Demolitions' quest are now easier to activate.
  • If players move too far from Mondo Zax or Drezkar the Gorefang, they will now receive a comm call offering the introductory quest.
  • Exile players who somehow make it to Crimson Isle are now teleported to Deradune.
  • Players are no longer be able to complete the quest 'Equipment Under Siege' without properly activating the Exile Cannons in Crimson Badlands.
  • The Toxic Empress that inhabits the Crimson Badlands should now properly respawn.

Deradune

  • The Endless Hunger now spawns further away from the crashed Dominion Ship and Camp in Leviathan's Rest.
  • Player can no longer collect a single fragmented memory core multiple times in quest 'Fragmented Memory.'
  • Enemy creatures in the 'Bloodfire Arena' public event will no longer trigger challenges or give quest credit when killed.
  • Fixed an issue in the 'Ravaging Rip Jaws' challenge where the Ripjaw Eggs would not explode after the first egg is destroyed.
  • Shiny Stones for quest 'Diplomatic Preparations' are now collected instantly when activated.
  • The public event 'Fights of Passage' will properly increment if the targets are killed outside the arena.
  • The torch that begins 'Falkrin War Banners' challenge is now inside the challenge area.
  • The entire length of Vezaar's Sword can now be clicked-on, not just the center.
  • All impressive kills now give credit towards the 'Impressive Hunter' achievement.
  • The 'Culling of Owanee Basin' challenge out-of-target-area warning is now more specific.
  • Game Huntress Milaena now properly talks to Players when they enter combat or kill enemies near her.
  • The explorable area of Deradune has been slightly increased to include all content in the zone.
  • Metal Maw:
    • Metal Maw's beams should line up better with telegraphs.
    • Added a critical hit impact visual effect to Metal Maw spell, Spin Slice.
    • Players hit by Metal Maw spell, Afterburner, will now animate properly when critically hit.
    • Adjusted Plasma Beam's scorch visual effects to match its telegraph size.
  • Mission 'CHEMISTRY: Accelerite Crystals’ - each crystal can now be scanned by more than one Player.
  • Updated the number of scans required to complete the Scientist path mission 'BIOLOGY: Falkrin and Primal Air’.
  • The Settler Public Safety missions in Bloodfire Village now updates with the boss trophies.

Dominion Arkship

  • Added arrows to walkways and walls of Dominion Arkship to help tutorial navigation.
  • Conversation options for quest 'Embarkation' now correctly disappear after being read.
  • The Primal Fusion Device will now explode and knock the Player back correctly.
  • Player no longer has to select a virtue they embody to complete the quest 'Ever Vigilant.' They can, if they want to, after the quest is complete.
  • The Soldier path mission 'ASSASSINATION: Black Hoods Leader' now unlocks upon completion of the quest 'Advanced Combat Training.'

Ellevar

  • Player is now dismounted from the Lightreach Hoverbike Rental when entering PVP Instances, Dungeons, and Adventures.
  • The mini-game in the quest 'Undermining Operation' has been rebalanced to be easier to complete in the time allotted.
  • Updated spawn times, difficulty, and locations of creatures throughout the zone.
  • There are now Glitterfur camp guards.
  • To get Scientist path credit for scanning on Circuit controllers, the scanbot no longer needs to return to Player.

Everstar Grove

  • Updated Blighted Tunnel - Eldan Security puzzle to require scanning the console to unlock the panels. Also updated visuals.
  • Players will now be dismounted when jumping through Flitterflies for the challenge 'Flitterfly Chaser.'
  • Dominion Players entering Everstar Grove will now be teleported to Celestion.

Exile Arkship

  • The Gambler's Ruin map has been adjusted to better reflect the playable area.

Farside

  • Players now have more time to complete the mini-game for quest 'Best Safecracker this Side of Nearside.'
  • Fixed a bug that was causing the Exile Challenges, Hot Feet and Full of Life, to not give rewards.
  • Players will now be dismounted correctly after achieving the quests 'Suits Me just Fine' and 'Suit First, Ask Later.'
  • Fixed an issue where the knockback spell for failing the interactions on the first two terminals during the quest 'Tell Us Everything' wasn't being applied to the player.
  • Players will now be dismounted when collecting Life Motes inside Alpha Complex.
  • Lucent no longer has respawns almost immediately after the Player killed him in quest 'Truth to Light.'
  • Vicious Vlogg will take a beating and run away correctly in the quest 'On the Run.'
  • Fixed an issue where the Caretaker tour guide was missing if the quest 'Tour of Bio-Dome 4' was repeated.
  • Vicious Vlogg will no longer teleport a short distance after player accepts the quest 'Bringing Back the Bounty.'
  • Darktide Physicist will now chase the players if attacked.
  • Dominion and Exile players can no longer take the opposing faction's Taxis in the Bio-Domes.
  • Added Holocrypts in Grayrock Gorge.
  • The quest 'Wield the Lightning' is now offered to everyone who has killed the appropriate NPC instead of just the person dealing the killing blow.
  • Fixed a bug that was causing Exile Challenges Hot Feet and Full of Life in Farside to not give any rewards.
  • For the Scientist path mission 'BIOLOGY: Tanglevine Skeech,' dead Tanglevine Skeech can now be scanned.

Galeras

  • Dominion players can no longer participate in the 'Tempest Refuge Invasion' public event.
  • Reduced the duration of the 'Mortar Dodging' challenge.
  • Dominion Players can no longer earn Operation Galeras reputation by jumping through Whimfibers.
  • Taking damage from the Mortar now correctly displays as 'Mortar Strike' in the combat log.
  • The quest 'Chomping at the Roots' now references the correct NPC in the quest summary
  • The Mark IX Rocket Bike will now despawn when players dismount during the quest 'Storm the Gates.'

  • There's now only one Sergeant Kara in Tempest Refuge.
  • In the quest 'Double Trouble,' players will no longer have to activate the drill panel if they kill Migo and Mogi first.
  • Pell High Priests now have the correct hit radius.
  • The 'Pell Punisher' challenge now properly unlocks in Thundercall Village.
  • The quest 'Sticky Paw' is now unlocks on the Tempest Refuge Bounty Board when the Player accepts the quest 'Trouble at Nibben’s Ranch.'
  • The target area for the 'Clearing the Canyon' quest has been enlarged.
  • Fixed an issue where the Motorbike Taxis created by a Settler improvement in Gale Canyon did not despawn correctly.
  • The following NPCs can no longer be killed by Dominion players:

  • Dominion players can no longer interact with the Fire Bombs for the challenge 'Cooking with Fire.'
  • The holdout objective of quest 'Balancing Power' can be restarted by activating the control panel near Belle Walker. The quest no longer fails if the holdout is unsuccessful.
  • Bristlebane Burrows are now only usable by Exiles.
  • Credit towards the 'Frantic Field Medic' challenge is now awarded for interacting with any Wounded Soldiers or Wounded Galehorn in Crosswind Fields.
  • Research Assistant Jayna no longer teleports with the player when they return to their transmit terminal during the quest 'Missing Scientists.'
  • For the 'Preventative Medicine' Imbuement quest, the Antidote Vials no longer display an NPC target frame when selecting them.
  • For the Explorer path mission 'SCAVENGER HUNT: Windy Artifact’, the ancient Elden relic will now drop off all Wind Elements in the target area.

Grimvault

  • Inactive teleporter pads in Grimvault should no longer teleport players to their factions' capital cities.
  • A platform was putting itself in an infinite loop if the player jumped at the right instant. The platform now takes its intended route, whether or not the player is jumping.
  • Enemy units from 'Minefields and Mischief' no longer stick around forever if a Stalker activated stealth at a particular moment. Now enemy units will go away regardless of stealth usage.
  • The quest 'The Equalizer' now refers to the correct NPC.
  • Emma Touchstone near the Alpha Company Crash will no longer fight Dominion players.
  • The Half-Digested Relic for the quest 'Indigestion' disappears now on turn-in.
  • Removed unintended experience gains for killing Vorion the Corruptor.
  • Creatures killed by the 'Big Mama' spell from the quest 'I Shall Call Her...' in the Fractured Fields, now count towards the quest.
  • The 'Cannonball' challenge description has been shortened to fit the Codex.
  • The "Big Mama" spell for the quest "I Shall Call Her..." may now only be used within the Shattered Sands (Dominion) or Fractured Fields (Exile) subzones.
  • Loot tables have been corrected for the 'Cannonball' challenge, so that the challenge now functions correctly.
  • The 'Cannonball' challenge's aura spell is now properly removed upon completion of the challenge.
  • The 'Illogical Arguments' challenge in Blighthaven now has lower completion numbers.
  • Players now get comm calls for the quest 'Batten Down The Hatches' in Blighthaven before they enter the Cankertube Swamp.
  • The extra information text for quest 'The Primal Balance' now reads correctly.
  • Concerns were reported that the creature population density for Gronyx on the quest Sudden Impact were too light. I blame gentrification. Added a second location that contained more Gronyx.
  • The 'INVESTIGATION: The More you Know' mission now allows other players to access the bridge from the datacube pillar
  • The Caretaker outside the Divergence no longer spawns multiple times.
  • The 'From the Breach' event from the Shattered Sands or Fractured Fields now properly tracks your contribution.
  • Ultraform Chargers now grant credit for the quest 'Endemic Eradication'.
  • Exanite shards now properly drop from creatures for the quest 'Just Another Brick' in the Shattered Sands.
  • Hulk Up and Conditioning Merchants now display correct levels and health.
  • The settler created General Goods stations now have full inventories.
  • The Primal Essences for the quest "A Perfect State of Being" are no longer selectable.
  • The Re-built Eldan Platform will now act as an elevator.
  • Corrupted Gronyx in the Silverwaste no longer fight with the other strain.
  • Quick travel teleporters around the Bio-Mech Facility now allow two-way transportation between each destination.
  • The Corridor of Corruption is no longer forbidden.
  • Injured Soldiers for the quest 'Not on my Watch' now run to the med station.
  • Players no longer take hazard damage while traversing the Strain Tunnels.
  • Supervisor Wicksprout now sounds more like herself. She must've had a cold or whatever!
  • Discovered that the Grimvault Chef stationed at Vigilant Incursion was a woeful level 10. It is unacceptable for a chef of such lowly stature to be serving the upper-crust of the Dominion. Fired him and replaced him with a level 46.
  • The holdout for the quest, 'Open Heart', is once again able to be completed.
  • Augmented malverine Weapon 24 is now a little less challenging for solo players.
  • The Taxi Kiosk near Biomech Facility Alpha will have access to transport back to the Boiling Cauldron even if you did not visit the Boiling Cauldron Taxi Kiosk.
  • The spell 'Rally' for the quest 'Rallying the Troops' now has a spell icon.
  • Players are now able to re-embark on the Flank Tank for the quest 'Gates of Fire' if their tank got destroyed.
  • Hologram rings associated with the 'Might As Well Jump' challenges in the Fist of Azrion and Widowmaker now vanish when counted toward their respective challenge. Added visual and sound effects to help players know they are going through hologram rings.
  • The 'Hacking the System' challenge in Grimvault now gives much greater completion percentage per Data Byte.
  • The explorable area of Grimvault has been slightly increased to account for content in The Lightspire region.
  • Fixed inactive teleporter pads in Grimvault so that they no longer teleport you to the capital city
  • Fixed several minor art issues in Grimvault.
  • Grimvault Path Zone Episode Completion rewards are now all Bind on Acquire.
  • The 'Exile Cache' mission no longer opens for Dominion players.

Illium

  • Rest your weary legs! Benches can be sat upon again.
  • The quest 'Venture into Deradune!' now directs the player to Huntress Kezzia, to better serve the needs of Bloodfire Village.
  • The quest 'Venture into Ellevar' now directs the player to Toric Antevian, to better start service in the name of Lightreach Mission.
  • The quest 'Illium Tours' now also directs player to the new Collegium area.
  • Captain Karaka no longer says multiple things at the same time while meeting up with her on the way to the Crimson Badlands.
  • Supply Officer Phenoxia now displays her vendor affiliation properly.
  • Dominion Explorers have had their health bars removed.
  • Made Curious Amita and Inquisitive Raju's nameplates simplified.
  • Craftmaster Tiberia Marcela now displays her health bar and level.
  • Added two new mailboxes.
  • Displays for the 'Housing of the Future' quest now update correctly.
  • The Dominion 'Housing of the Future' quest can now be accepted in person and via comm call at the Housing of the Future entrance.
  • The guild bankers now show their names properly.
  • Research Commissioner Tyranea no longer sells blue Power Cores.
  • Fixed an issue where targets were not despawning properly in the 'Demolition: Tankbuster' mission.

Levian Bay

  • Ability trainers have been removed due to the new ability training system.
  • The quest 'The Mysterious Construct' now uses multiple quest receivers to ensure the player can always turn it in upon completion.
  • The Exile Mercenary Database now requires Manual Targeting.
  • Achievement: 'The Bigger They Are' is now displayed under the Levian Bay Kill category.
  • Updated Starcomm station control panels to be activated after fixing the sparking wire.
  • It is now possible to turn in the quest 'Lighting the Way' using your communicator.
  • Exile players are no longer able to get over the mountains and into Levian Bay.
  • Resolved an issue where the quest "The Elder Cube" in Levian Bay would incorrectly lead you back to the exit of the Exo-Lab.
  • The Exo-Lab Security Panels can now be activated after fixing the sparking wire at Star-Comm station in Levian Bay
  • Starcomm station control panels can now be activated after fixing the sparking wire in Levian Bay
  • Fixed a text issue in Aretmis Zin's dialogue in Levian Bay.

Malgrave

  • The 'Scrapping the Scrab' challenge should now have the correct rewards.
  • The Reconstructed Journal NPC in Rancher Rishka's Camp will no longer incorrectly indicate that it can be activated while the player is on the 'Can't Make an Omelet Without Eggs' quest.
  • Dominion players inside of Grancor's Den during the Critical Containment event in Malgrave will no longer see their zone change and the event disappear whenever they enter the buildings in the area.
  • Players that have not heard about the scrab menace will now get a comm call from Pilot Tenzo if they've tagged the Sandcrawler or Sandsnapper Scrab.
  • The challenge area for the 'Stolen Goods' challenge now encompasses all of the targets.
  • Added Mailboxes.
  • Water Twisters along the beach now despawn when new ones spawn in.
  • Baley the Cave Dweller will now respectfully stand when addressing players in the Old Loftite Mine.
  • The lackeys in the quest 'Bret's Lackys' no longer attack other Black Bret gang members, nor do gang members attack the Lackeys.
  • The Robocult Propagandatrons no longer display on the mini map during the quest 'Desanctification'.
  • The Unstable Ground in Flamedance Enclave can now be interacted with again, if a player activates it then does not enter the teleporter.
  • The Goop Gun in Rancher Rishka's Camp can only be picked up once now.
  • There is no longer any delay between one player interacting with the NPCs in the quests "Brewers in Bondage" and "Rescuing the Scouts", and the next player who can interact with them.
  • Dying on the outskirts of the Critical Containment event will no longer respawn players inside of the Containment Facility.
  • More difficult NPCs have been added to all killing fields
  • The two water twisters in the Endless Coast now function like all other twisters there.
  • Players who die on the Endless Coast now resurrect at the holocrypt there, instead of in the Blasted Wastelands.
  • The larger banners in Scourwind Perch are no longer burnable, and are no longer part of the quest 'Leaving our Mark'. The quest now requires fewer banners burned to be completed.
  • Players now spawn closer to the holocrypt in Kohra Crash Site.
  • For the quest 'Combing the Archives', Players now have 4 seconds to enter the proper code into the Flamedancer Terminal, up from 2 seconds.
  • Zone synopsis panels now play in Crimson Badlands and Containment R-12.
  • The Burned Journal now properly displays 'Examine' instead of 'Talk to' for its interact tooltip.
  • Singed Pages for the quest 'The Burned Journal' now properly displays 'Collect' instead of 'Activate' for their interact tooltip.
  • Fixed an issue where Rancher Rishka would sometimes use a communicator-specific voice over line when interacting in person.
  • Fixed Exile NPCs in Redsand Station that were appearing as friendly to Dominion players.

  • The winning player Faction of Stage 1 of the Critical Containment Event now receive Victory buffs that last for two hours.
  • The Critical Containment events now have the tag [GROUP 20] in the title to help clarify the number of people needed.
  • Players participating in the Critical Containment event will now receive reputation for the Exile and Dominion Malgrave Research factions upon killing group level mini-bosses throughout the event space.

  • The Critical Containment daily quest is now granted off Quarantined Remains that appear after the final boss is killed. The quest gives additional reputation rewards for the Malgrave Research factions.
  • Containment Facility workers inside Containment Facility R-12 that appear after successfully cooling the reactor core are no longer grouped in unnecessary ways.
  • When Settlers receive their first Fuel resource during the Critical Containment event they are no longer told by Keeper Lomem that they have the maximum amount they can carry. Likewise, both Keeper Lomem and Zaria Perikoff are now clearer about what can be done with this fuel.
  • Malgrave: Settlers participating in the Critical Containment event will receive notification from their path representative when they are near an unbuilt depot, but do not already have the maximum amount of fuel they can hold.
  • Malgrave: When Explorers participating the Critical Containment event open a cooling vent, a green telegraph now appears to show that a beneficial effect is happening.

  • Dominion players are now properly teleported out if they happen to accidentally find a way there.
  • Fixed intermittent crash on Northern Wilds Adventure.

Thayd

  • The quest 'Thayd Tours' now also directs player to the new XAS area.

Riot in the Void

  • Players should no longer clip through objects when teleporting into the instance.
  • Players should no longer be locked out from resurrecting after Professor Goldbough is killed during the 'Final Exam' mission.
  • The Players' corpses no longer immediately disappear after the character dies.

The Hycrest Insurrection

  • Spotlights no longer follow players inside buildings.
  • Falling boulders in Sinnatus' cave now hit the ground when the telegraphs end.
  • During the 'Take the City' mission, the Dominion Herald now leaves his podium when Rhadman appears.
  • It is no longer possible to kill Major Rhadman before the objective to do so has started.
  • The engine on the train during the 'All Aboard' mission can no longer be activated until the force fields have been dropped.
  • The Suppression Bot Mk.II's outgoing damage has been significantly reduced.

War of the Wilds

  • Player is no longer able to ride mounts in the adventure.
  • The Coldburrow Queen will now target Champions, Samu-Samu Moodies, and Samu-Bots correctly with her Dark Energy spell. The spell's damage will be reduced based on the number of stacks of Battle Prowess each Champion has.
  • Veteran mode - Six enemy champions will no longer spawn when Player participates as the Dominion. Fixed issue where enemy champions sometimes failed to spawn.
  • The Frozen Corrupter now properly drops Guardian Shards when the player has an item that grants the imbuement quest 'Baron of the North.'
  • Players will no longer be told to capture Energy Nodes or Moodie totems if there are not enough to be captured for the objective to be completed.

Siege of Tempest Refuge

  • Exile Players who resurrect while the first Generator is alive will now do so at the holocrypt.

The Malgrave Trail

  • Fixed a bug that caused infinite Dreg attackers to spawn during campsite events.

Raids - General

  • Security Clearance is now required to access Genetic Archives (and eventually Datascape). Upon reaching level 50 players should proceed to their faction capital city and... well... you'll see.
    • For testing purposes during beta, players will be able to continue walking into Genetic Archives without proper clearance, however we'd love to get help testing the epic quest line!
  • Random events now properly synchronize with the weekly raid lockouts. This has resolved an issue where different raid groups would not receive the same objectives as each other each week.
  • Because of frequent raid hotfixes, more changes can be found in this thread.

Genetic Archives

  • Mysterious Eldan panels have appeared in the Genetic Archives.
  • Malfunctioning Gear - Corrosive Fluid now has a proper tooltip.
  • Phagetech Prototypes: Destructo Bot's Radiation Pool now clears reliably when the encounter resets. If that fails, it should clear upon entering combat.
  • Abhorrent Stalker's Ambush is no longer deflectable and no longer damages pets.

  • Lowered the Cloth drop rates on humanoid mobs.
  • Reduced Eldercraft Crate of Surplus Crafting Goods crafting voucher price by half (roughly 140% the cost of the Bag of Surplus Crafting Goods). Adjusted associated loot tables to match, increasing the chance for Research level items.
  • Void Slip and other abilities that remove you from combat temporarily will no longer cause bosses to not drop loot.
  • The models of loot rewarded from paths and challenges will now properly fly to the character and disappear.

  • Runes are now sorted by Element and Tier in the UI. The new tiers of rune are Attribute, General Rune Set, Class Rune Set, Elder Rune Set, PvP Attribute and PvP Rune Set.
  • Runes now respect Level and Class requirements. You will no longer be able to equip runes that are above your level or part of a class set for another class. As such, base stats for Life, Logic and Fusion runes have been lowered to a level required of 15.
  • Protect Your Neck, Preservation, Team Player, Focus Regen, Shield Specialist, Assassin, Spellweaver, Weapon Specialist, and Technophile Rune Sets now have a third bonus available at 12 runes.
  • Rune Fragment drop rates have been increased for both Salvaging and the Chest of Crafting Components loot bag from Challenges.
    • Rune Fragments, Intricate Fragments and Armor Fragments will also continue to appear in higher level Chest of Crafting Components rewards.
  • Runes are no longer divided by Primary, Secondary and Tertiary. All runes will give their full benefits. This will affect your existing slotted runes. If you had a Secondary or Tertiary Rune slotted into your armor or weapon, it should now give more stat bonus.
  • Life, Logic and Fusion Rune Slots now appear on items beginning at level 15 instead of 45 at a low rate. Because of this change, several Life, Logic and Fusion Rune recipes have had their materials changed to give players options for creating Runes for these slots. The changes to the recipes are documented below.
  • The early level Rune Sets now all use one unified Rune Set Fragment for crafting instead of having individual Rune Set Fragments for each individual set. This new fragment is called the Augmented Rune Fragment. The old set fragments will no longer be used after this change.
  • The Class Rune Sets now use one Rune Set Fragment per class instead of having individual Rune Set Fragments for each individual set. The old set fragments will no longer be used after this change.
  • We have added several PvP runes.
    • PvP Offense runes now appear under Fire, Air, and Fusion
    • PvP Defense runes now appear under Earth, Water, Life, Logic and Fusion
    • There are new PvP Class Rune Sets!
      • Warrior can now acquire the Rune Set: Overpower
      • Engineer can now acquire the Rune Set: Supercharged ExoSuit
      • Medic can now acquire the Rune Set: Shield Flux
      • Stalker can now acquire the Rune Set: Unfair Advantage

Tradeskills - General

  • Tradeskill recipe list now has a new icon for One-Use Schematics.
  • Work Order quests should now properly display the correct schematic when clicking the objectives in the quest tracker.
  • Non-equipable items can now be directly crafted from the schematics tab instead of from the Circuit Board Crafting screen. Items without parents or children can also be crafted directly from the schematics screen instead of from the Coordinate Crafting screen.
  • For all Relic Blaster harvesting tools, the Player must now face towards a node to harvest it.
  • The Player may now use 'Epochos' and 'Adventus' schematics as long as the schematic items are in their inventory.
  • Underground mining nodes in Galeras near Tempest Refuge should no longer show up on the above ground minimap.
  • The 3D visualizations on characters for all crafted items have been improved.
  • The icons for many tradeskill related items have been upgraded.
  • Work Order quests should now properly display the correct schematic when clicking the objectives in the quest tracker.

  • Fixed an issue where Apprentice Armorer schematic 'Type II Titanium Weave Plastron' was uncraftable.
  • Armorer design "Walatiki Stone Guard Hauberk's" title has been changed from 'Formula: Walatiki Stone Guard Hauberk' to 'Design: Walatiki Stone Guard Hauberk.'
  • Fixed an issue where Armorers’ ‘Apprentice Armor Tech I’ displayed invalid text in place of the crafted items required to fulfill this task.
  • Fixed an issue where the required crafted item count for Armorers’ ‘Artisan Head Protection III’ and ‘Artisan Armor Tech V’ did not match the description text in the tech tree for those tasks.
  • Missing icons for Supercharged Armorer talent tree have been restored.

Cooking

  • Adjusted the range and variance of diagonally moving cooking additives, and adjusted the cost of most cooking additives.

Mining

  • Resolved an issue where mining nodes were still displaying their nameplates after the node was depleted.
  • Leaving a Wurm Tunnel will no longer teleport you off to a random location where they fall to their death.
  • Pocket Cap Playspace for Crimson Isle now has harvesting nodes.

Outfitter

  • The ECU Augmented Leather Scout Outfitter schematic now calls for the correct materials.
  • Outfitter tech achievement 'M-5 Nightrunner' should now unlock the 'Warden's Lithetek Custom Knickers' item track instead of the 'Rimewater Girrokhide Gloves' item track.

Relic Hunter

  • Artisan's Relic Blaster now uses the correct model.

Tailor

  • In Crafting, the Elder Tradeskill message "Any Power Core" is now properly listed as "Any Hybrid Power Core."
  • Eldercraft Tailor schematics 'Adventus; LA-3 series' and 'LA-4 series' now require Eldan Data Fragments instead of double cloth.

Technologist

  • The Expert Technologist Octopod Serum variant, Temporal Shimmy Tonic, no longer has a craft radius of 0.
  • Expert Technologist Heartichoke Serum variant, Kinetic Omniplasm Grenade, no longer has a craft radius of 0.

Weaponsmith

  • The Stormcrush Bladed Psybomb now properly displays a Psyblade model.

User Interface

  • The entire user interface has been revamped.
  • Players can now report spam by right-clicking the offending message.
  • Added an option to turn Cinematic Subtitles on/off in the Audio Settings menu. Its default setting is off.
  • Fixed a rare crash when the Player claimed Tradeskill talents.
  • Player can now have only 16 mail messages open at a time.
  • Story Panels should now consistently appear as intended.
  • Drag and drop functionality in the Action Builder is now more responsive.

API Changes

  • Apollo: Added new API method "GetHazardDisplayString" to Hazard library which takes a Hazard ID and returns the display string associated with that hazard.
  • Apollo: Added PathMission:IsOptional() function that will indicate if a Path Mission needs to be completed in order to complete the Path Episode associated with the mission.
  • Apollo API: The lua coroutine library has been explicitly removed.

Housing

  • Medical Station 1x1 should now properly give credit when starting the challenge.
  • 'That's the Spirit!' challenge now lasts 180 seconds instead of 150 seconds. This should make the challenge easier to complete.
  • The Orbital Strike action icon for the Osun Forge Challenge now has a new icon.
  • The Housing Open World PvE buff now applies to XP earned from Quests and Public Events, in addition to kills.
  • Fixed an issue where players could enter and leave their homes while dead.

  • The Osun Forge challenge has been adjusted to release waves of enemies slowly at the beginning of the challenge, then ramp up as the challenge progresses. The challenge-provided spells have been rebalanced to allow for more engaging and frequent interaction from the player.
  • The Hedge Maze's preview screenshots have been updated.
