So the World of Warcraft PvP season has begun. Season 9 is dead, long live season 10. Except things haven’t been that smooth and a lot of players are unhappy because Blizzard botched the points conversion.

Zarhym has posted a detailed and thoughtful reply on the official forums. Basically two things happened, the snafu with the honor points and Blizzard also neglected to “notify players that we made a slight change to the way PvP gear is introduced each season. The change simply wasn't communicated among all of the other patch 4.2 changes, which was a big oversight on our part.” He then goes into more detail and concludes by explaining that they’re working on sorting the honor point problem. It’s not particularly helpful for those annoyed but it is nice for Zarhym to be so candid. We'll be sure to let you know when this whole mess is resolved.
