As you progress farther into Tabula Rasa, you'll notice not only a change in the geography, but the zones will become more and more hostile. Torden Mires is no exception and secure areas are hard to come by. While Baylor Base is the obvious choice of not only security but transportation, it requires and arduous journey across the volatile geography.

Fortunately Fort Haroun is a slightly smaller but well fortified command post just south of the entrance to Torden Incline and will provide the necessities required to survive in the zone. Interestingly enough it will also be one of the largest mission hubs you'll find, providing a number of objectives to complete. Haroun can be reached by heading straight south of the Incline entrance until you see a path over a lava lake. If a Strider squashes you, you've gone too far west.

Fort Haroun Command

Arieki Surveying - This mission begins with Sergeant Heatherly who is standing on the bridge in front of Fort Haroun around 585, 239, 551 who needs you to do a survey job for him. Why can't he do it himself? Well it seems the Bane destroy the survey units before any usable data is uploaded. Head out to the survey location around 415, 234, 534 and plant the device. You'll need to defend this location for 2 minutes and 30 seconds against any Bane attack. Once this is done head back to Heatherly who will reward you with 5600 credits and your choice of a Teleract Cryogenic Injector Gun, Voltrex Gravitron Armor, or a Vextronics Shotgun.

The Green Party - This mission begins with Professor Long in the long hallway (get it? long h...sorry) around 652, 224, 377. Long wants you to believe on this flaming dirt ball called Areaki you can actually find flowers. We won't even go into why he's looking at flowers to begin with but he wants you collect 3. These "flowers" look like giant man eating plants and stand out pretty well so shouldn't be hard to find. I found mine at 501, 244, -232 and 485, 245, -232. Return to Professor Long when you've gotten them all to receive 5600 credits and your choice of Luminar Mech Armor Gloves, a ChiTech Electric Chaingun, or Titan Hazmat Armor gloves.

Tick, Tick, Tick - This mission begins with Dr. Robertson next to Professor Long and requires the completion of The Green party. Continuing his strange research Robertson would like tick antennae. Make sure to grab your Targets of Opportunity before doing this mission so you don't have to make two trips. Barb Tick's are only found in one spot in the entire zone by destroying some equipment near 335, 268, -278 which will spawn them every time. Once you've completed both mission objectives return to Long for your reward of 4050 credits and your choice of a Phoenix Mech Armor Vest, Lumniar Reflective Armor Gloves, or a Teleract Sonic Shotgun.

Manta Beam Hill - Manta Beam Hill begins with Dr. Robertson and requires the completion of Tick, Tick, Tick. This is another in the series of gathering freakish samples for the good professor. This one just requires you to plant a survey node on something called Manta Beam Hill. This mission was bugged at the time of this guide and auto update. Please let us know the location you had to drop the node if you know. Long rewards you with 4050 credits and your choice of a Hellstrom Hazmat Armor Vest, Vextronics Chaingun, or Vextronics Laser Pistol

Party Gashers - This mission begins with Dr. Robertson and requires the completion of Manta Beam Hill and any prior missions. You've proven yourself with Ticks and hopefully with Manta's so he's ready to ask you to do something a little more dangerous. Long wants you to gather 14 Flaregasher teeth. If you've already forgotten about the fire breathing zombie dogs from Torden Incline you'll be reacquainted fairly quickly. Make sure to get your Targets of Opportunity missions first as this will kill two birds with one stone. Unfortunately like the ticks, Flaregashers are pretty rare. The only consistent location I found one was on the eastern side of the Iapyx Control Point. Once you've collected all of them return to Long for 4050 credits and your choice of an Audiodyne Gravitron Helmet, Vextronics Leechgun, or CryoGen Mech Armor Helmet.

Lasher Virus - This mission begins with Professor Long and requires the completion of Party Gashers. It appears Dr. Robertson has finally passed the buck and you are back working for Long again. There is a problem with the plant life which seems kind of strange considering the zone is pretty barren. Aha! Just kidding, go talk to Dr. Robertson again because Long is useless. He wants you to gather 10 Lasher claws for a sample of a viral poison. We'll admit it, we cheated a little. Searching high and low in Mires revealed no Lashers so we got our updates in Torden Incline. I'm assuming this will be fixed very soon. When you've got your updates head back to Robertson for 4050 credits and your choice of a Vextronics Viral Injector Gun, Vextronics Sonic RPG Launcher, or CryoGen Motor Assist Armor Vest.

Hooves of the Magnomix - This mission begins with Dr. Robertson and marks the end of one of the lengthiest series we've seen in Tabula Rasa. Robertson wants you to collect the hooves of 12 Magnomix which are the big lumbering creatures that just kind of sit there like flaming cows. A word of warning, you will NOT solo this below level 30 without a lot of frustration and ammunition. These things have an ungodly number of hitpoints and even in a group of 4 took significant firepower to take down. Brings some friends and patience out near Quicksilver Post around -431, 222, -275 and start shooting. When you've gotten all 12 return to Robertson for 4050 credits and your choice of Audiodyne Mech Armor Boots, Luminar Stealth Armor Legs, or a Vextronics EMP Rifle.
