Motion capture is a state-of-the-art technology used for recording realistic game animations from physical movement. For developers that can afford the initial costs, "mocap" offers animation at least as fluid and realistic as hand-drawn or "keyframe" animation, with far less time (and money) spent per-animation. Funcom Combat Expert (for real) and Motion Capture Specialist Ketil Støren shows us some of his moves during our recent Funcom Oslo site tour, then shows us how these motions are applied to character models in Age of Conan.
