Today Sprawl over at wowvault.ign.com has released his weekly news update on all the happenings in WoW over the past week.

Blizzard's World of Warcraft celebrates its first birthday this last week with an official statement from Lead Producer Shane Dabiri and discounted copies of the game while the war against "e-heroine" continues in Asia. Patch 1.9 is on the test realms with two new raid instances, "casual epics", linked auction houses, and a whole lot of new artwork. Weather has been put on hold and Blizzard continues to work out the remaining bugs in the patch.
