This section of our Druid guide provides information on the various Druid only quests in the game. Druid quests focus on gaining animal forms and access to spells. As a Druid you will definately want to comple all of your class specific quests to gain access to these forms and spells.
The Druid quests are as follows: Bear Form Quest, Cure Poison Quest, Aquatic Form Quest, and Swift Flight Form Quest.
These quests are no longer needed, but they do offer XP and gold for doing them.

Swift Flight Form Quest Chain
At level 70 Druids can gain access to one of the most important quest chains for their class. The quest chain grants you access to your swift flight form, which allows you to travel at 280% speed while flying. However, to get access to the quest chain you need to train to 300 riding skill and then travel to Loganaar in Moonglade. Both factions share the same quest chain.
Preperation
A few of the quests require you to have some items to turn in. If you want to speed up the process you can pre-buy or pre-collect these items before starting the quest chain. This will save some time running around while on it. The items you require and the steps they are used for are as follows:
- 10x Ancient Lichen - step 2
- 10x Dreaming Glory - step 2
- 1x Free Action Potion - step 15
Step 1 - Morthis Whisperwing
Obtained from: Loganaar in Moonglade
Description: Before all of the druidic orders coalesced into the Cenarion Circle, the Druids of the Talon were responsible for teaching promising young druids the mysteries of flight. With the dissolution of the order, former members teach the skill sparingly.
Even now, Morthis Whisperwing continues his search for a suitable apprentice. Few druids have truly mastered all the forms available to them, but you show the promise Morthis requires of his students. Seek him out at the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh
Objective: Seek out Morthis Whisperwing at the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh.
Notes: Simply travel to Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh to find Morthis.
Step 2 - The Ward of Wakening
Obtained from: Morthis Whisperwing at the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh.
Description: Long ago, the relics used to teach the ways of the stormcrow were entrusted to Clintar Dreamwalker for safekeeping.
Clintar's body rests in the barrow dens of Moonglade while his spirit roams the Emerald Dream.
I will prepare a potion you can use to ease the waking process. The mixture will require common herbs, as well as bogblossom, which grows on top of the mushrooms in the marsh. Take care in harvesting the blossoms, they're quite fragile and may explode violently if mishandled.
Objective: Collect 10 Bogblossoms, 10 Ancient Lichen, and 10 Dreaming Glory and return them to Morthis
Notes: The easiest thing to do if you are not a herbalist is to buy the lichen and dreaming glory from the auction house. The bogblossoms are found throughout Zangarmarsh on top of the giant mushrooms and can be gathered without the herbalist skill. Be careful though as they do explode sometimes, which will blast you off the mushroom to your death below unless you are quick at activating your normal flight form.
Step 3 - Waking the Sleeper
Obtained from: Morthis Whisperwing at the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh.
Description: Take the ward with you and travel to Moonglade, to the Stormrage Barrow Dens. Within the southernmost barrow, watched over by the dreamwardens, you will find Clintar Dreamwalker.
Administer the potion and watch over him while he wakes. He'll be extremely vulnerable as his spirit reunites with his body and he certainly won't recognize you. Declare yourself to him as soon as he comes around. He will need your help to gather the relics for the ceremony.
Objective: Wake Clintar Dreamwalker in Moonglade
Notes: Use your teleportation to go to Moonglade and then travel to the barrows near 75,65, once there you will find Clintar and you cna use the ward to wake him.
Step 4 - No Mere Dream
Obtained from: Clintar Dreamwalker in Moonglade
Description: I cannot extricate myself fully from the Emerald Dream to help you, but a fragment of my spirit will guide you in your search for the relics. Guard it well, for it is a fragile thing.
The Emerald Dream itself has become an alien, dangerous place. Its grasp on me is strong, and I will not be whole until the Emerald Dream returns to normalcy. What you see around you is but an echo of the reality inside the dream!
Objective: Protect Clintar Dreamwalker's Spirit while it gathers the relics of Aviana, then speak to Dreamwarden Lurosa.
Notes: This is a basic escort quest, however the MOBs respawn very quickly so you may get swarmed at some point. The spirits will aggro Clintar so you can DPS and heal as time allows. Also, you can and should buff Clintar. Pulling some of the MOBs ahead of him early if you have time can help. One of the MOBs in the barrow will be a raven, which leads into other quests in the chain. When done you speak to Dreamwarden Lurosa who will give you the next piece in the chain.
Step 5 - Return to Morthis Whisperwing
Obtained from: Dreamwarden Lurosa in Moonglade
Description: Now that the relics have been recovered, you must leave this place with all haste. Clintar risked his safety and that of the dreamwardens to help you, but now he must fully devote his attention to fighting the force that has invaded the Emerald Dream.
Take the relics back to Morthis Whisperwing, along with word of what you've seen here. He may be able to help us identify just what Clintar is struggling against.
Objective: Take the relics of Aviana to Morthis Whisperwing at Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh.
Notes:Simply travel back to Zangarmarsh.
Step 6 - To the Evergrove
Obtained from: Morthis Whisperwing at Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh.
Description: Are you certain you saw a raven in the barrow den?
This is a troubling development. There's little we can do to help Clintar and the dreamwardens directly, but if we can learn more about what's threatening the Emerald Dream, we may be able to stop it.
We've been learning about the resurgence in an ancient arakkoa cult in Blade's Edge -- one that venerates a raven god. Go to the Evergrove and find Arthorn Wildsong. There may be a connection between what's happening there and in the Emerald Dream!
Notes: Simply fly to Eversong in Blade's Edge Mountains and talk to Arthorn Windsong.
Step 7 - The Book of the Raven
Obtained from: Arthorn Windsong at Eversong in Blade's Edge Mountains
Description: From what you've told me, Morthis's suspicions seem plausible, but we need confirmation.
In his research, Timeon has uncovered clues that a "book of the raven" served as an ancient scripture to the cult. It is always mentioned in connection with the name "Sai'kkal the Elder" among "the high sacred crystals."
The arakkoa spirits will not reveal themselves to your eyes. Take this stone with you to the Vortex Pinnacle near Ogri'la, obtain an aether ray eye, and combine them to augment your sight.
Objective: Use an Aether Ray Eye with your Seer's Stone to reveal the raven cult ghosts. Search the Vortex Pinnacle for the spirit of Sai'kkal the Elder and question him about the book of the raven, then return to Arthorn Windsong.
Notes: Fly to Vortex Pinnacle and find an Aethor Ray to kill, found around 32,50. Once you have an eye you can use it and the stone to see the Arakkoa spirits that roam the pinnacle. Travel to the ogre area to the west and search for Sai'kkal near 30,56. Speak to him and listen to his tale to complete this quest in the chain.
Step 8 - Eyes in the Sky
Obtained from: Arthorn Windsong at Eversong in Blade's Edge Mountains
Description: Locating the pieces of the Book of the Raven, if they survive at all, is going to be difficult. Our best hope is to use a keener pair of eyes than your own.
Down in Nagrand, on the eastern edge of the Twilight Ridge, Watcher Elaira studies the various bird species that make their home there. Visit her and see if she can help you harness avian sight to gather the pieces of the Book of the Raven.
Notes: Fly to Nagrand and find and speak to Watcher Elaira who can be found near 20,36.
Step 9 - To Catch a Sparrowhawk
Obtained from: Watcher Elaira in Nagrand
Description: The wild sparrowhawks of Nagrand have the keenest sight of all the predatory birds here. But, because of their size, they've been pushed out of most areas by the larger windrocs.
Most of the sparrowhawks nest here, on the Twilight Ridge. If you can catch one, I'll train it to spot the pieces of your buried tables.
It's going to be difficult, though. The sparrowhawks are very skittish and will flee at your approach. I'd suggest cornering one or prowling to get close enough to cast your net.
Notes: The sparrowhawks are right aroung Elaira, however they are difficult to get near. The best ways ore to either use pounce to stun one or hibernate so that you have time to cast the next on it. Once you do talk to Elaira again.
Step 10 - The Raven Stones
Obtained from: Watcher Elaira in Nagrand
Description: I've trained your sparrowhawk to respond to a specific whistle. When it hears the sound, the bird will fly to you and guide you to the location of the nearest tablet fragment. Arthorn sent word that the fragments you're looking for are buried in the Skettis area of southeastern Terokkar Forest, so that's where the bird will wait for you.
When you've gathered all the stones, return the whistle to Arthorn and she will see to the animal's care and release.
Convey my greetings to Arthorn when you see her.
Objective: Gather 8 Raven Stones from Skettis in Terokkar Forest and then visit Arthorn Windsong in Blade's Edge Mountains.
Notes: Search Skettis for the stones by using the whistle. If you are careful you can get them all while not even entering combat. When done travel to Arthorn Windsong in Blade's Edge Mountains for the next part of the chain.
Step 11 - The Eagle's Essence
Obtained from: Arthorn Windsong at Eversong in Blade's Edge Mountains
Description: The Book of the Raven tells us the raven's followers captured and bound the spirits of his rivals within stone shrines. A guardian was set to watch over each, lest the raven's enemies attempt to free them.
The first of the shrines is the eagle's, found in the hills to the south of Lake Jorune and west of Stonebreaker Hold in Terrokkar Forest.
The tablet says that the eagle fought valiantly, but was overcome by a swarm of enemies. The armor and endurance of your bear form is well-suited to this fight.
Objective: Defeat the Guardian of the Eagle to obtain the Essence of the Eagle, then use the whistle to call your sparrowhawk to relay news of your success to Arthorn.
Notes: This is a very difficult quest, but depending on your gear it can be soloed, if you are worried you can always grab a healer to help out. You can find the Shrine of the Eagle in Terokkar Forest near 45,45 and once there you just need to click on the shrine to start the encounter. When the guardian spawns he will be joined by a large number of ravens that all attack you. If you stay in bear form and use demoralizing road often you limit the damage you take. He hose have a very high damage spell that needs to be interupted called starfire, so keep yours stuns and interupts for it.
Before you start the fight a full stack of HoTs and Barkskin can help greatly. Also keeping thorns up helps return some damage on the birds. When you are done use your whistle to summon your sparrowhawk.
Step 12 - The Falcon's Essence
Obtained from: Your summoned Sparrowhawk
Description:The second spirit bound by the raven's followers was the falcon.
It was subdued and imprisoned close to Skettis as a reminder to the raven-priests when they held power.
On the shores of Lake Ere'Noru, to the northwest of Skettis, you'll find the falcon's shrine.
To overcome the falcon's guardian, you'll need to use the falcon's strengths to your advantage. Use the speed and grace of your cat form to defeat the guardian before it reaches full strength!
Objective: Defeat the Guardian of the Falcon to obtain the Essence of the Falcon, then use the whistle to call your sparrowhawk to relay news of your success to Arthorn.
Notes: This is again a difficult quest, but easier than the previous one. Again, if you are worried you can always grab a healer to help out. You can find the Shrine of the Falcon in Terokkar Forest near 60,60 and once there you just need to click on the shrine to start the encounter. When the guardian spawns it is essentially a DPS race between you and him. He has a magic debuff that stacks 10% bonus damage per effect on you, so he needs to die quickly. He also has a knockback so align yourself away from the water and back towards any obsticle you can find. If you need to heal try to stun him first. When you are done use your whistle to summon your sparrowhawk.
Step 13 - The Hawk's Essence
Obtained from: Your summoned Sparrowhawk
Description: The last, and strongest, of the spirits is that of the hawk. It was imprisoned far from Skettis, in a shrine on a remote island southest of Auchindoun.
I believe this description best matches the island we know as Sorrow Wing Point.
The tablet described the hawk's guardian as nearly invulnerable to the bird's claws. Forsake physical attacks and call down the fury of the stars to defeat this foe. Do not repeat the hawk's mistake.
Objective: Defeat the Guardian of the Hawk and bring the Essence of the Hawk to Arthorn Windsong at the Evergrove.
Notes: This is again a difficult quest so again, if you are worried you can always grab a healer to help out. You can find the Shrine of the Hawk in Terokkar Forest near 46,91 and once there you just need to click on the shrine to start the encounter. The key to this fight is staying at distance since he can hit for up to a 1000 damage per hit. Use Entangling roots to keep him away from you, and keep abolish poison and remove curse cast on yourself. He takes 500% damage from spells so just keep casting. When done return to Blade's Edge to turn in the quest and collect a very nice trinket called: Charm of Swift Flight which increases your speed in flight and swift flight forms by 10%.
Step 14 - Return to Cenarion Refuge
Obtained from: Arthorn Windsong at Eversong in Blade's Edge Mountains
Description:Bring the essences to Morthis Whisperwing, along with word of our findings about the raven god.
Morthis will know best how to use the essences and information in drawing Anzu out into the open. Make your way to him quickly, for there's no telling how long Clintar and the dreamwardens can withstand the raven's assault!
Please, tell Morthis how much of a help I've been to you. I fear he will not see my hand in this work!
Notes: Simply fly to Zangarmarsh and talk to Morthis again.
Step 15 - Chasing the Moonstone
Obtained from: Morthis Whisperwing at the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh.
Description: If the essences are combined within a rare gemstone such as a Southfury moonstone, you'll be able to release them when you're prepared to challenge Anzu.
The only problem is that Southfury moonstones are exceedingly rare and known only to occur on the cliffs in northwestern Azshara, near the waterfall at the river's source.
Tragedy befell the last night elf party that set out in search of one. Their boat is still anchored in the river near where they sighted the moonstone.
Objective: Find a Southfury moonstone and return it to Morthis.
Notes: Travel to find the moonstone Altar in Azshara near 15,47. Do not click it yet, instead use either a free action potion or have a PvP trinket ready. Then click the altar at which point a goblin will jump out and attempt to sap you, if you took the free action potion this will not effect you, if not use your PvP trinket to get out of it, then chase her down the river. Since she swims off in the water, remember to switch to auqatic form.
As you chase her she drops bombs that you must avoid, and ice blocks you. Avoid the bombs and if you get ice blocked simply change forms then change back. As soon as you catch her you complete the quest and can return to Morthis.
Step 16 - Vanquish the Raven God
Obtained from: Morthis Whisperwing at the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh.
Description:We must waste no time in dealing with the raven god. You must take the essence-infused moonstone to a place of great power in order to lure the god from the relative safety of the Emerald Dream.
Descend into the Sethekk Halls and set the moonstone in the clutches of the raven's claw. You'll find it in the chamber before the talon king's hall.
Anzu must be made believe that his followers have gathered to welcome him back into the world. Once he has manifested, show him no mercy!
Objective: Find and slay the Raven God and return to Morthis Whisperwing at Cenarion Expedition. You must do this on heroic difficulty.
Notes: You need to enter heroic Sethekk Halls to complete this quest, which means being at least honored with Lower City. Once in the room just before the final boss you will see a claw that you can use with the moonstone to summon Anzu. Once spawned Anzu will have three banished birds around him that you can bring to life with various Druid HoTs. For best results and saving mana, it is best to use a macro to cast rank 1 on each bird.
Once defeated you can return to Morthis to get your rewards, which are: Swift Flight Form, Idol of the Raven Goddess (a relic that adds to your various forms abilities) and a permanent moonstone to allow you to resummon Anzu in any future runs through heroic Sethekk Halls.
